At first I laughed at Gordon being distracted by breaking crates. Then I remembered the HEV suit saying “amunition depleted” and realized that he was looking for more ammo.
But they weren't ammo crates. Just regular crates. They're just so satisfying to destroy.

@@trianglemoebius No, because the intact crates are bigger, heavier and better for punting and killing enemies. Anyone who's played HL2 knows that a whole crate is better than the broken wood shards, which are literally useless
I like the idea that Chell is so unfamiliar with societal norms that she just scarfs down the cake as quickly as possible
And Gordon uses a crowbar to eat the cake. So, aside from being mute, both have no table manners.
Why? It's not lore-faithful. Chell didn't live her full life in Aperture Science labs.

Yeah, also the scene where Gordon absorbs Chell’s portal actually makes sense in the context of the universe. Black Mesa is believed to have copied Aperture’s equipment so them being able to combine like that makes a lot of sense.
Nah it isnt. Chell firts got her Portal gun in Portal 1 (2010) and never left Aperture Science after the first game. Due to Portal 2 playing a few thousand years in the Future it wouldnt be possible.

You say that but if you read the Portal:Ratman comics you can see on one of the lab desks there is a gravity gun. This either means that they invented it as I said or they were using it as a reference for the portal device. Either way my theory of why the portal gun and the gravity gun interact with each other so easily makes sense.
