Honestly, I have no problem with them changing the title to get more views. Obviously, the team put a TON of work into making this video. It deserves the exposure and if it can have a 'second life' then why not? Now there are more people who haven't seen this video before getting to see it now because of Half Life Alyx. Good for them!

I do not see a problem if they changed the title for more views. This is actually great quality video that deserves to be promoted. The title actually fits well since Alyx is using the gravity gun in City 17.

It deserves to be promoted yes, but the way they did it, putting that title on a video on the GRAVITY GUN for a game that DOESN'T EVEN HAVE THE GRAVITY GUN IN IT as a way to earn more views is fucking shady. It doesn't reflect the game in anyway, and was entirely put there to make money. It's literally just a blatant lie.

I think this video was under appreciated. All the CG is top notch, the script is good and the actors delivered the lines well, and the green screen shots are awesome. 10 out of 10 guys!
Fun fact: Ellen McLain is a voice actor who voices GLaDOS from the portal series, The Announcer in Team Fortress 2 and the overwatch woman that you hear on speaker in Half Life 2 AND she's married to John Patrick Lowrie, the voice of the sniper in Team Fortress 2!

Imagine if you were able to inhance the gravity gun by turning it to a glove like machine. You could slip it on your hand, and turn it on and off. And to pick something up, you would make a fist and to release or throw something would depend on the speed of you opening your fist. Now that would be cool :)

I believe they even took the face template Valve used to model Eli and just used a program to manipulate the picture. If you didn't know: Valve did use actual peoples faces as a template for all the characters in HL2. Just google "hl2 real characters" and look at the images. I wasn't sure at first either.

That is eli!, at least the guy that valve modeled eli's face off, well that's my theory, but then again, the desscription sas it's Max Gonzalez, so they could have gotten a video of the actor and put Max Gonzalez's voice over it.

This is not based off of half life alyx rather it's named that way because it's based off of Alyxs role in HL2.

Back when I was watching Parks and Recreation, I saw Lilan Bowden in the Cones of Dunshire scene and instantly thought how she would make a great Alyx Vance, she resembles Alyx a lot. How shocked I was when a few months later I found out that she actually played Alyx in this video.

To all the kids who keeps saying it's GMOD. What kind of Gmod are you even playing if you don't have Half Life 2 (and CS source). They are the source of most of the textures online. Must be all ERRORS and purple checkers for you.

You dont need hl2 for garrysmod.
Yea you can run gmod without hl2 or css but the only thing working fine would be single player sandbox. Most multiplayer uses hl2 and Css textures. You can download the texture packs though but that's third party and anything goes with illegal download.
