CP3 is barely 6 foot and is an all-time defender. Melo is 6’8 and has been a defensive liability throughout most of his career. The height argument isn’t valid. There were definitely some postseason series he’s definitely should’ve won or at least took it further than what he did but a lot of his postseason exits were too against the Warriors who we say are the amongst the greatest teams ever if not THE greatest team ever. And even though Harden does often underperform in the postseason, let’s not AI didn’t do the same thing either. Yeah AI hasn’t always been in the best situations himself but he’s also has been one of the biggest reasons why he couldn’t win a championship. That 01 run was great but outside of the Lakers, the other teams weren’t great unlike with teams Harden has faced.
Who did harden face great in Houston besides Golden state who beat him with and without KD. Also loss the same year without KD against Toronto.

Harden is better and just because Harden had better offensive talent around him doesn’t negate that AI had better defensive talent around him which won them series’s and games that he under performed in. GSW Warriors was “untouchable”, “unbeatable” and “UNFAIR” but any team AI was on wouldn’t take them past 4 games, Harden was the ONLY 1 to mess with them and the ONLY Superstar to push them to 7. There’s also talks that Harden should have more than 1 MVP from 2017-2020 while AI lucky to have 1 and never saw a 2nd place vote. Player for player Harden is a better defender, 3 point shooter, scorer and more efficient
