HOW TO REPLACE BROKEN SWIMMING POOL VACUUM HOSE CUFF

My swimming pool vacuum hose is about 7 years old and the cuff started to crack! Once it started cracking I was not able to securely attach it to my vacuum head. This video will show you how to replace and fix this vacuum hose cuff issue.

You were good right up to Gluing the Hose. There is no need on a Screw in hose.

The cuff is counterclockwise tighten but the hose is a spiral the whole way so you have to get the proper cuff direction for the end of the hose.

I just checked mine and both end of the hose go counterclockwise. How is that possible?

Hmm not sure, maybe the other end of the hose is counter clockwise?

You need to use silicone then screw it on Don't Not Use PVC Glue
