    Hi Karley! Thanks for the video. Do you know of any cricut hack to cut larger than the mat, but not slice the paper in sections? I make paper placemats that take foreverrr to cut out by hand, so I'm looking for a way to divide my image up into sections and rotate the mat so that it cuts a section of the image, but doesn't cut "squares" down the middle. Since it's a placemat, I don't want seams and tape on the back. Cricut snap mat possibly???

    • @KarleyHall
      @KarleyHall  Před 2 lety

      Do you already own a cricut? If not I’d say get a bigger machine! Silhouette and StarCraft offer machines that are wider and can cut a lot longer. Are your placements bigger than 11.5” x 23.5”?

    • @jordanlawrence9517
      @jordanlawrence9517 Před 2 lety

      @@KarleyHall Thanks for your reply! I do already own a Cricut, but may have to invest in a Silhouette if I have to cut too many more of these things! The placemats are about 13 x 13. I wish Cricut would develop a system to “pause” cutting, allow you to reposition paper, and then resume the shape. 😩 With the use of the snapmat it should be a cinch!

    I haven’t use my Cricut in a couple of months but I thought the largest you could print was something like 6.25 by 9.75 or something on those lines. Did they do a upgrade

    • @KarleyHall
      @KarleyHall  Před 3 lety +2

      That's the largest you can "print then cut." Just cutting, you can cut up to 11.5"x23.5" :)

      It’s soo stupid you can cut white letters giant but cut and print is small. Sold my circut for that reason.

      You will want to click on your image and then up at the top, there is a little colored square swatch. Click that to choose whatever color you like! Thanks for the feedback- I will try to slow down :)

    So.... you did NOT cut larger than the mat, you just sliced your project up. Nice bait-and-switch title.

    • @KarleyHall
      @KarleyHall  Před rokem

      It’s a term in the cricut industry “larger than mat project.” So, in this video I am cutting a larger than mat project. So let’s NOT be rude, Matt.
