    I learned how to do all of this through trial and error when I first started, but you did a wonderful job explaining every step! I wish I would have found your video a year ago! I would have saved time, money and plenty of wasted frustration. I had no clue why some of my letter would black out the hold in the letters d, a, b, etc... so thank you for teaching me why!!!! You are awesome and thank you for sharing your knowledge with the world! Love a crafty hippie from Mississippi

    How glad am I to have come across your video 😊☺️ Just got gifted a cricut explore air 2 for my birthday and I’m about to do my first project. I have a quick question : Do most of the projects work with the built in blade that the cricut came with it or do I need to buy extra cutting blades ? If so, how do I know what extra blades to buy? Please your help and tips would be greatly appreciated as I’m a bit confused as a first timer.

    Hello. I just saw a video on your channel on how you do your cake toppers. I have a question. For someone who is just starting out. Which Cricut would you recommend ? We don't do as many toppers as we do eatable paper. Please. Anyone that has a clue. Help. Thank you

    • @Zhannastar
      @Zhannastar  Před 4 lety +1

      CRICUT EXPLORE will cut both regular cardstock paper cake toppers and will cut eatable paper as well! its much cheaper than a cricut maker. (I have had cricut explore 2015-2019 and sold it and got a cricut maker, and honestly the "extra" projects a cricut maker can do... I won't even do them because they will literally take anywhere from 2 hours to 15 hours! to cut out! I just dont have that kind of time or patience. lol
      check out amazon (make sure the seller is CRICUT), cricut.com or joann fabrics.com for best prices. cause they all have different specials going on all the time (:

    So helpful! How much would you sell a cake topper for?

    • @Zhannastar
      @Zhannastar  Před 3 lety +1

      $6 for non custom one "happy birthday" "happy 21st birthday" etc and $8-$15 for a custom one. like names - sometimes people would send me photos of things or ask for characters etc so that would cost more cause of time. Those were my prices. I no longer sell them. You can also go on etsy and check out what other people are selling their similar items for to know your competition. I always try to go lower than other people BUT don't cut yourself short either. Usually its cost of supplies x 3. But I mean the glitter paper could cost you $0.32 and doesn't mean you deserve $1 lol

    • @Zhannastar
      @Zhannastar  Před 3 lety

      Thank you! and the best one is CRICUT MAKER. because it can do what all those other cricut machines can do BUT plus more! Black Friday deal should have a little bit of money off, not much but thats the only discount of the year they have. checkout amazon, cricut.com, Joanns, Walmart, hobby lobby and michaels and see who has the best price (:
      cricut explore will cut a lot of things, I have had one for 5 years, and than I got a cricut maker and its same thing, just faster - only sucky thing is that you do have to buy all the other blades (like knife blade, fabric blade etc) separate and those alone can cost from $34-$50)
