      Jennifer, I may need to be asking you this question on your blog or see if you have a faq section, but I'll start by asking here. I will be working with fabric quite a lot, so No.1: Is there a limited number of layers of fabric I will be able to cut once I receive my Cricut Maker? & My No.2 question: if I have a pattern or design already created, can it be uploaded to my Cricut (some-thing-or-another) so that I can save it and cut it out now or at a later time when needed?
      Today, June 9, '20 you have a brand new fan!! Thank you for your great CZcams video. I'll be back for more info, pronto!!

    I bought a cricut explorer for my mother in law 3 years ago and she was over whelmed and gave it back. I LOVE crafting but was so confused with the cricut that it stayed in the box for two YEARS in my basement. I finally brought it up and decided to try it out. Again I was overwhelmed and learned enough to just make scrabble tiles for Christmas. A friend showed me one of your videos and I was hooked! I had a Cricut Explore Air 2 and received a Cricut Maker for Christmas. Loved all of your tips on this video. The one tip I really liked was how to cut a 2nd time if the first didn't cut all the way through. I am trying to make quilting templates with .04 plastic and it didn't cut all the way so now have to use my knife to finish. Love watching your Cricut videos.

    I cant thank you enough for all your help. It really helps to be able to get so much information from one place and one person so that I can understand it. I tried a couple of others but all they wanted was for me to pay for their class and I cant afford that. Another tip for keeping mats clean - also be sure to keep the protective cover clean. I make sure the protective cover is hanging out of the way so that hand paints, pet hair, and debris are not all over it when I have to reapply it to the mat. It makes a big difference.

    • @laurieglatt4341
      @laurieglatt4341 Před 4 lety

      @@lunasmum6869 You could use a small anti-static bag that stampers use, or rub a dryer sheet on it. What I do is put a sticker on the front (outside) of the mat cover prior to taking it off so I know what side is the outside and which is the inside (where it touches the mat). Then when I take the cover off, I always hang it back up where I hang my mats, with the inside (sticker side up) against the wall or other mats on the hook, or inside down if lying flat in a drawer. The sticker helps you make sure that you store it correctly so the inside never gets dust or pet (or human) hair on it. Good luck!

    Dear Jennifer,
    I received the Cricut Maker as a Mother’s Day gift. I’m the least “Tech Savvy” ever, and my Cricut Maker is still in its original Box since, l received it in May of 2018! *Minus the Instructions which l’ve attempted to read (comprehend) several times. Recently, one of my “D-I-L’s” (Daughter-in-law) asked me to help her make some baby decor for my newest Grandchild. After perusing several “How to Books for Dummies” l finally felt comfortable enough to pull my Cricut Maker out of its hiding place and use it for the first time! Unfortunately, I came across several of these problematic issues that you were mentioned in your video and immediately thought it must be doing something wrong!
    I can’t thank you enough for giving me the courage to try again, now that I’m armed with some valuable tips and tricks! My eyesight is also less than “stellar” so the “Baby Powder” Trick is absolutely genius! I noticed *15:00 a ball of Aluminum Foil in your Cricut’s hold cup... Originally, I thought you placed it there for “Shorter Markers or Tools) to make it easier to pick up. 😂
    Thank you Jennifer, l’m looking forward to watching more of your wonderful video! ♥️👍🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
