    What if you wanted the back of the cut out to match the gold paper facing forward - would you cut the words again in the gold cardstock as reverse/mirror so you wouldn't have the back just plain white and glue back-to-back the 2 pieces? TY Rachel M.

    • @SprinkledwithPaper
      @SprinkledwithPaper  Před 3 lety +3

      Yes, you could just mirror the image and glue the two pieces together with the stick in the middle. Or you could spray paint the back, which is what I do from time to time. It’s extremely difficult to get the two pieces of card stock to line up perfectly, which is why I don’t typically make my cake toppers double sided.

    • @SprinkledwithPaper
      @SprinkledwithPaper  Před 5 lety +10

      Hi Jenny! Yes, I've made the design is reverse to make it double sided. This works best if you choose a thick font. For thiner font designs, I've actually spray painted the backs so they weren't just plan white. The gold spray paint I use is called "Krylon Short Cuts", it matches the Michael's Recollections gold glitter paper really well. Good luck with your cake topper and wedding planning!!
