It's now 3 yrs since yr comment & you have nothing to worry about! Queen is now introduced to 3 more generations, rappers & hip hop musicians everywhere on youtube are raving on their "ration videos" saying "how did I miss this incredible band?" The movie in 2018 brought the sale of A Night At The Opera to best selling album for something like 16 weeks, I am not sure that is the EXACT amount but close, so no need to attack me if off by a couple😃. Queen records are all sold out in every used vinyl record store all over Oregon, believe me, I've looked for them to build a vinyl collection for my grandson who is 13 & is a Queen devotee as is my 8yr old grandaughter who walks into my house & immediately asks to play my Queen collection. Freddie on his own is such an extraordinary genius with a voice that grabs u & never let's u forget him
Brian May is so different & musically far ahead creatively than any other guitarist before or after him, you can hear the first 3 notes & u know it's Brian. Roger, where do I start... the talent mixed with his passion for great music every time he plays makes us know he is the great we st by far. And call it a miracle, but John Deacon seeing an ad in college for a base player wanted brought the non-believers to their knees to make Queen the greatest band of all time. Like Jimi Hendrix, like Mozart, like Pavarotti, like Aretha, Queen music will NEVER BE FORGOTTEN, nor their less known songs, because people like me pass it on to our grandkids & friends & simply explained, their music is a gift to us all, FOR ETERNITY.

I think this is a true spiritual song ; I mean that you can really get into the spirit in which Freddie was when he wrote it (and obviously when he sang it). The fatigue, the night falling on his eyelids, and the eyes already dreaming far enough through the infinite darkness to see the vanity (the emptiness) of our occupations (and preoccupations), but not detached of us enough to not enter in a soft anger in front of our blindness.

And I think the purpose of a song is to make you enter in an other mind (imaginary or the one of the artist). Here Freddie's song makes both of this ; that is why this is definitely a great one

The purity of Freddies voice is apparent here maybe because he had not toured so much, and maybe he didn't smoke as much when he became ill. Either way, THIS is the example of his power and his tenderness, in one song. Truly incredible.Freddie and Brian are the Lennon/ McCartney of what I refer to as " progressive pop/rock'.

I definitely agree... one of Queen's and Freddie's highest moments.... I've always loved it to bits, right from the first time I heard it. Magnificent melody, soulful and perfect vocal performance, lush keyboard orchestration and splendid guitar solo.... Perfect. I loved that Freddie came back to use some immaculate falsetto vocals on this album.
And yes, Bijou is another fantastic piece from Queen and another highlight from "Innuendo", that I've always called "the album I wasn't expecting anymore from Queen"... One of my four top favourite albums by the band.

How can mere words describe the beauty and emotion that Freddie lets pour from his very being? Losing him hurts all of his fans very badly, and I speak from my own sorrow for his loss! He gave his best when he was so very sick because the love inside him for his music demanded that from him.... He made us fall in love with him--long live Queen and Freddie again one day!!
