Our production appeared to have picked Ruth based on her age (due to the character's age and whatnot)..., unfortunately they forgot this lady has a relatively youthful sound..., and a mezzo soprano range, rather than contralto... -_-;;

when I played Ruth my gray wig fell and was hanging off in front of my face so I played and off and the audience died laughing! aaagh improv. :)
