Yeah the broken horn is kinda her thing. She is the only Tiefling I have seen that doesn’t have full horns

I made my beautiful tiefling wizard lady have a normal name, even if it sounds cool, she's still Eve Blackwoods. The more unique I made her the more normal I needed her name to be, just to balance things out. XD Given how unusual she looks.
Someone made a Githyanki bard, with long black curly hair, named Weird Al Githyankovich.
“…and Meg”.
Also, Gale did the same with names with, “Early Access” and “Launch” from the animation.
@@Karomix3 mine is a Rogue Assassin dual wielding Drow with red hair named Molina. That was my Elden Ring character. After seing this, I should have named her something funny like .. Black Widdrow, Scarlett B*tch, Mary Jane Drowson or Mélanie: Blade of Nicolas.

I like how every hero has a name, then there is the wizard who is just "Josh" reminds me Monty Python's Tim the enchanter. Simple, yet elegant, obciously wise.
also reminds me of one Penny Arcade strip, for Final Fantasy 11, where other players were complaining that this guy named his black mage Jim

I made one of my wizard character have a normal name despite her being a blue tiefling with heterochromia and a glowing purple eye, so she's Eve Blackwoods. XD Special look, special powers, Noble, normal name. Cause balance. XD To me she looked otherworldly in a beautiful, ethereal way, so I had to give her a normal name just to be able to stay casual. XD

thats when you know you got a no nonsense wizard. when they care so little for their name its something boring and forgettable. but in josh's case all his care is being put into making sure the Durge doesnt kill the party. which is a full time job with 120 hours of unpaid overtime and no days off.

Worse conundrum is when you cannot decide which 3 to join the team each day (cries because “no party limit” mod not available on PS5)
In temp companions, you forgot Omeluum, he becomes a temp companion in the iron throne mission.
Would Duke Ravengard count as a temp companion then?
Also Hope. The most powerful of any of the temp companions.
Not really as he acts on his own like the other npc's who try to escape.

It’s funnier when you remember that the Hirelings are given voice by Withers and he is just like 🤦♀️🤦♀️ “how is it I expect these idiots to save the realm”
(Withers is secretly impressed when your stupid tactic works, then back to thinking you’re an idiot when he has to revive you the next morning because you let Astarion nom on you a bit too much)

It's absolutely wild that you basically have the same team loadout as my group. I'm the bard, we have a halfling rogue/ranger who syncs up nicely with your rogue thief, we have a gith wizard who fills almost the exact same role as Josh, and we also have a Dwarven Dark Urge that has had us questioning if we're going to have to turn on a teammate.
Karlah's one horn should've be shattered...

You can actually pick Us back up as a permanent companion in Act 2 if they didn't get killed on the Nautiloid or left behind when you initially found them, they have 65 health and will turn into a cat if you go into a city. 👍
For those wondering where they are, I will only say this and you'll figure it out, "chop chop chop". Happy hunting!

I mean... Dark Urge is a dragonborn by default so your technically wrong.
I think I heard that they couldn't get some of the animations right, which is why the dream guardian can't be a dragonborn either. Stuff that comes up for NPC companions but not player characters, I guess? Maybe they'll change that later.

He *was* a friend for life! It's just that his life ended after about 15 minutes.
Edit: apparently I'm mistaken. If he survives the prologue, he shows up later in the game.

Josh reminds me of an NPC wizard I introduced to my party in my home DnD game. Steven the Serviceable. (The party asked why the 'serviceable') Steven responded he was expelled from school after his Master's thesis violated the ethics agreement of the school, and thus he wasn't given his diploma and thus he legally can't give himself a "typical" wizard-y title.
Me: "The pets will come with a re-upload, it's not permanent unless there's a shirt."
Carbot: "Buy the shirt!"

Wow! That's dedication! I don't even remember the Hireling names, I just refer to them as Hireling and then their class. You not only remembered their names, but even drew all of them, even if you may never use them in your videos.

You forgot the canonical Dark Urge character, which is a white skinned Dragonborn, which was also in the demo's and trailers.
You can find him dead in Orin's bedroom when not playing Dark Urge. Appears he got to her, but failed.
I like how all the characters look the same but so different at the same time
Pros know that Brinna Brisong be crafting potions like crazy back in camp, but doesn't join the adventures due to the absolutely wack stat and multiclass requirements on her.
The weird thing here is that Sovereign Glut is a lot shorter than most characters, but huge in Carbot's mind. The dumpy king is just that imposing.
Poor Gale. He'll never have that hand back.

sorry, that is no longer the canonical Dark Urge. the canonical Durge is now Haagen-Dazs. the white dragonborn is for those who are afraid to be what they truly are unlike Haagen. a force of nature that is the embodiment of chaos incarnate.
Brianna Brightsong and Danton are great companions for the early game.

From the names to the capturing of their tendencies and playstyles...I view the CarbotAnimations Heroes as one of the greatest D&D groups I've seen online! This is with Vox Machina of Critical Role, Acquisitions inc and the origin characters of BG1,2 & 3. Your inclusion of the hirelings is :chef's kiss!: as I'm an avid proponent of camp casting!
Once I finally have time to beat the game, probably not for many years till after the kids are all out of the nest, my soul focus will be to role play the entire game as Durge drunk would with no spam saves just to see how it ends.
This is an example of you don't need complex design to be loved

To fair Dark urge is also an origin character as well. Given his canonical look is a White Dragonborn, that is a storm sorcerer.
As far as Tav or the heroes, I don’t think Tav has a canonical look, but is the investigator trying to figure out the murders cause by the Dark Urge. This was all in the short story before BG3.
