  • Hi, It's just me, Yossi Sheriff, doing something very un-spectacular. I am showing something that I do a lot in AKBAN dojos. We limit the range of possible techniques and also control the aggression and ego. This forces us to become better in the limited set and then, when we return to full randori, we can integrate these techniques into our tactics.

Finally someone who thinks outside the box and where ninjutsu can finally evolve into the true meaning of sparring, which is unpredictability and accelerated training of the senses. Such an approach changes ninjutsu and its meaning, but on the other hand it shows its true strength and the meaning of true controlled sparring. I like to definitely see what ninjutsu looks like in thinking after a certain degree of black belt. This is the true thinking of a true samurai today. Respect Sensei

We have the background to say this because we do full intensity sparring on a weekly basis. We have been pressure testing for a long, long time. czcams.com/video/CT8zfQqSgOI/video.html

@@AkbanOrg We ar ALL ninjas in eyes of The Ninja Hatsumi .He is one of important OMEGAs. True transmitter of truth. He is my best Sensei. He is like older brother of Bruce Lee. True softnes in movement with no heel energy transfer. With full potencial when heel is rooted. So nano movements. They hide the vibration in step. Its the best tool for freestyle movements.

Definitely, Mr. AKBAN, less techniques at higher quality are the best solution. Good health, Paul,68, retired istructor of Karate

Love this! I do this myself in our dojo, and often get visiting students from other clubs within our organization. They all say "it goes so slow, but yet, I've learned more here from a few hours than a few months at home".
If you don't know how to go slow, you definitely don't know how to go fast (and hard).

Visiting Thailand or Brazil is a different experience than actually living there. The long term sparring in many gyms and BJJ places is very good, not aggression oriented, with a set of rules that is intended to safeguard the club members

This is an interesting take on sparring. It makes sense, especially in classes with varying levels.

Of course. The fact BJJ rules is because they figured out how to improve techniques while sparring.

Have to ask...what do you think of the Bujinkan people?? They were so awesome long ago but the later "antics" were disturbingly odd

So I have mixed feelings on this, it could be a useful tool for learning a new technique in fact that's kinda what they do in bbj. But at some point every technique needs to be pressure tested in near full sparing. (You never spar at 100%)
