    • @aman___004
      @aman___004 Před 4 lety +44

Get your facts right. Takshashila was abondoned in 5th century AD whereas Mughals came in 16th🙄 British and Mughals had nothing to do with the destruction of Takshashila, to be specific. Actually, it was British archaeologist Sir Alexander Cunningham who rediscovered it's ruins in mid 19th century!
Edit: I meant it was particularly not the 'Mughals' who destroyed the Nalanda university and Takshashila University. They were destroyed even earlier than Mughals, by other Muslim fanatics. Mohammed Bin Qasim was one such zealot who destroyed Nalanda University to showcase the power of ISLAM. History has been replete with examples of such Muslim fanatics who have destroyed our institutions of learning and worship, and moreover erected mosques over them as a sign of victory of Islam over Sanatan Dharma. The latest one was that rascal Aurangzeb. Today's Muslims should not associate themselves with those Turks and Uzbeks because they're not their real ancestors. Today's Muslims should not take pride in the destruction of dharma caused by those invaders.

4:53 NO, not slaves. The king who built it Raja raja Cholan had inscribed extensively the names of all the paid workers so far as including the names of even the barbers who cut the workers hair. Fun fact: The 80 ton structure atop the gopuram carries the inscription of an old lady's name who voluntarily brought buttermilk to quench the worker's thirst everyday
This is in stark contrast to Shah Jahan who had the hands of the workers cut off after they built him the Taj Mahal 😶

@Psilocybe Vibe If you do not know anything then do you think you have the right to judge the "ancient people"? You seem like a fool without even knowing the case. Well, here it is,
King Narasimhadeva built this temple to dedicate it to God Suryadev. The temple was not built for common people in the beginning. And the temple is also known as “Black Pagoda” due to its dark color and used as a navigational landmark by ancient sailors to Odisha. The magnetic effect of the lodestone was so strong that it caused disturbance in the ship's compasses those passed by the coast (Konark being a major port at that time), thus making the navigation very difficult for the sailors. To save their trade and their ships, the Portuguese sailors destroyed the temple and took away the lodestone. The removal of the lodestone leads to the collapse of the main temple structure. Currently, nobody knows where the magnet is. They took it down because they said it was pulling the planes. The sea receded back and now people go there.

    1. The Chariots in the Temple are not only Sundials it also has moon dials, using which u can calculate time precisely upto seconds.
    2. 1200 craftsman worked for 12 years to construct the temple.
    3. Even after 12 years they couldn't complete the Top portion of the temple. The son of the chief Mason who wasn't born when his father left his home when he was born, came to meet his father with some berries from their garden so that his father will recognize him. His name wad Dharmapada, he sacrified his life after completing the top portion of the temple by jumping into the sea.
    3. The large Magnet at the top of the temple used to distrot the compasses used by navigators even miles away in the sea.. The Britishers Vandalized the temple so that they can navigate easily.

The most interesting fact of brihadeeshwara temple is, no disaster or anything can never and ever shake the temple. It sustains until the world exists. The temple is fully surrounded with sand for few kms and also depth under the basement. So that even earthquake occurs, even if the temple shakes it comes to it normal position. This big temple has only 5ft of foundation(I think so). The temple was built with tones of granite but there is no single granite quarry in surrounding area. It is based on dravidian architecture which is highly complicated. Not only these 5 temples, there are many temples which is unique in it's own way and many mysteries are hidden in it. Our ancestors are great scholars who are very intelligent than this generation. Others copied there inventions and discoveries. Majority of things went from india only but they got the patent. Now think how cruel they were who destroyed these architectural masterpieces just because of their religious bigotry.
Even in last 70 years, thousands of hindu & budhhist temples have been destroyed in Pakistan , Bangladesh,Afghanistan,Indonesia,Malayasia,Iran , Iraq.

They missed Jagannath Temple in Odisha in the video! It's the most mysterious temple! There are close to 10 terrifying mysteries associated with this temple. Naming a few:-
    1) The flag at the top of the temple always moves opposite to the direction of the flow of air.
    2) In the temple, the food(prasad) is made by placing several pots on top of one another, and the topmost pot gets cooked first!!
    3) Even though we could hear the birds chirping and the sound of waves outside the temple, but inside, we will never hear those!!
So these were some of the mysteries which even science has not been able to explain. There are many more!

I'm from a place that is very close to Lepakshi, which is where the Veera Bhadra temple is situated. First thing, it houses the largest cow sculpture in the world. The cow is supposed to be the mode of transportation for Lord Siva(the god that "Agoras" worship). Lepakshi is derived from the Telugu language "Lae Pakshi" which means get up bird. This is in relation to a segment in Ramayan(one of the holy text of hindus) here, while Sita(basically the heroine) gets abducted by Ravana(the antogonist), a bird(by the name Jatayu) tries to save Sita. Jatayu's wings get chopped off by Ravana while trying to save Sita and falls to the ground. While Rama(the protogonist) goes in search of Sita, he comes across the fallen Jatayu. Now, Ram knows Jatayu, as Jatayu and Ram's father(Dasaratha) are friends. Ram rushes to the aid of Jatayu. By this time, Jatayu is in it's last moments. That's when Ram says Lae Pakshi (get up, bird). Sadly, he dies. From that moment on, the place where Jatayu fell and it's last rites were carried out was called Lepakshi. I brought up Agoras earlier for 2 reasons, 1. You've seen the video regarding them and could relate to Shiva. 2. Shiva is the god of death, last rites are always carried out under his name. Veera Bhadra is a form of Shiva. Hence there is a temple in his name and the cow. There is some fairly accepted idea as to why there is a hanging pillar. The pillar was never attached to the upper body or the lower body of the temple. But, with the passage of time and due to the contraction and expansion of iron components in the pillar, it got stuck to the upper body of the temple. The upper body of the temple, due to expansion, has caused the pillar to levitate. And the leg, most people consider it to be fake. But the legend says, it's the footprint of Hanuman(the biggest follower of Ram and the monkey king). Hanuman is like an overpowered character, he basically has every power imaginable. To help Ram reach Lanka(Sri Lanka) where Sita was taken, Hanuman increases in size and carries(flies) Ram and Lakshman(Ram's brother). Hence causing the footprint.
5 months after you posted this video😂😂. Sorry. Not sure about any of the other temples.

Indians never had slaves. High class and lower class, and high class taking advantage of lower class, but never slaves

In ancient or medieval times people were sold and bought as goods. It never happened in India. In India, rich people used to trick simple people by giving them loans with interest that they couldn't pay so as a result, they had to pay the loan by working.

There are many more historic and spiritual sites. One of them is the Jail where lord Krishna was born. Its over 5000 years old. A huge part of that jail was destroyed by Mughals during 1600's, but the actual jail still remains.

When we look at the awe-inspiring poetry in mortar and stone, we cannot but feel so privileged to have been born in this land - that has often defied the laws of physics, or so imbued in spiritual wonders! These were only five you saw, but believe you me, there are thousands more unexplained works of undefinable beauty and character that simply leave the visitor open mouthed. For example, the temple of Lord Jagannatha (an incarnation of Lord Krishna) is said to be unique as the shadow of its tower is never known to fall on the ground. Besides, the temple flag flying on the tower actually flutters in the opposite direction to the wind blowing at a celestial height! Mystery? The Meenakshi temple in Madurai houses Pillars that produce music from different musical instruments when struck, and these Pillars are known to be over a thousand years old!! There is much, much more to India than snake charmers and tigers, than the West has given credit for. It is even today a land of people with remarkable powers of insight and trans-physical abilities. These powers are said to be achieved after decades of perseverance, untold penance, and study of scriptures. In case you are interested, you may read the following books by extremely respected, and revered Yogis to appreciate the spiritual strength of India that has helped it withstand the most ruthless and barbaric attacks on its identity.
    1. Autobiography of a Yogi by Swami Yogananda.
    2. Apprenticed to a Himalayan Master by Sri M.
And to top it, a book penned by a,British journalist as far back as 1936 on his clinical search for a spiritual master in India, and his becoming completely besotted with the land thereafter.
    3. A Search in Secret India by Paul Brunton.
Keep your curiosity alive as you discover the real India. Good luck to you both.
