I'm not sure if I've ever witnessed an atmosphere as incredible as that. The Rangers fans were INCREDIBLE as they roared on the team to the Europa League Final in Seville.

And because the game was now too easy, the Scottish invented the "crossbar" to make the game more challenging! Because they were completely dominating the English - so badly, that the sport might be cancelled.
The English caught on - and, in the world's first ever international sporting event, England v Scotland ... it finished 0 - 0
The Scots were caught off-guard - because the English simply sat back in defence and absorbed the pressure in a 0 -3 -7 formation, making no effort to attack whatsoever. The Scots didn't know how to use wingers yet, to get "round the back" and deliver lethal crosses into the box - back in the day, there was no such thing as "Andy Robertson".
Even though it finished 0 - 0, the working class railway workers of Scotland would be transported all the way to every corner of the globe - showing off their football skills, while civilising the local population - who would then become masters of football.
And that, my dear American friend, is how Scotland modernised the world!

I was there, what an amazing night, best game I have ever been too, so proud of my team. What I would like to also say is fair play to the leipzig fans. They applauded Jimmy bell, were not hostile towards us, and after the game they were trading scarfs and tops by throwing them over the division netting and police. Outsode right after the game i was congratulated by some liepzig fans, especially a young lad maybe just younger than me and his dad. Even though they had lost they congratulated us, we exchnaged handshakes, and i traded my lifelong scarf with the German lad. Football is about memories and respect, yesterdays occasion was full of it. Rest in piece Jimmy Bell, Simply the best ❤️🤍💙

Yeah as a Celtic fan I feel the same way. Congratulations to what Rangers have accomplished in Europe this season. Their record has been really impressive over the last few years in Europe. Mind Rangers and Celtic both play in a “pub league” 🙄 so it’s really impressive. What is very impressive is the little money and little resources Scottish Football teams have compared to most other leagues in Europe, yet Rangers have made it to the final against all the odds. I hope they win it tbh. I think I am correct in saying that if they win the final they get an automatic group stage spot in the CL league for next season. Also Rangers as winners would actually get put in pot 1 I believe for the group stage draw. This would also mean both Rangers and Celtic in the CL Group stage which hasn’t happened since the 07/08 season I believe?? Anyways respect to Rangers to what they have achieved.

I've watched every Rangers game in Europe, and have been very impressed, great nights at Ibrox. I thought they might struggle without Alfredo, as he has been outstanding in Europe, but fair play. As a Celtic fan, I just want to say Congrats to Rangers for reaching the UEL final for the 1st time since 2008, and eventhough I support Frankfurt too and I think they will win it, I hope Rangers and it's fans have the best memories in the final.

Used to come up regular to Ibrox with the RSC down here in England, but since it disbanded and my personal situation with getting married and having kids, I rarely come up. No chance in getting a ticket for an occasion like that, so your footage gives me that perspective and allows me to enjoy it as if I was there. Top man!

I’ve been a Rangers fan all my life and have been going to Ibrox since 1978, although I wasn’t at this game and had to watch it on TV, it’s the best atmosphere I’ve ever witnessed at Ibrox. The combination of the occasion, the sadness of Jimmy Bells passing and what that added as well as the tactics and effort of the players really made this one of the all time great nights at Ibrox. Congratulations to all players and staff involved and how good would it be to win a 2nd European cup 50 years after the only other one and 150 yers since the clubs inception.
My first Rangers game was in 1969,, but last night's game was the best game of my life,, considering what happened this week,, they whole stadium was bouncing it was an incredible atmosphere,, this Europa run i have witnessed big teams freeze when they hear the noise at Ibrox they couldn't handle the noise we are their 12th man..
yeah i have never ever heard anything like that on thursday dortmund wasnt even close and i thought that was an amazing night. i still have goosebumps and my father was lucky enough to be there

Brilliant vid Sam. As much as I love your more history based ones, this is arguably the best I've seen on your channel. So proud of the club I've supported all my life. I remember listening to the Barcelona 1972 final on the radio as an 11 year old. What a story and an achievement it would be if we could win another major European trophy in the 50th anniversary year of that victory. Almost seems like destiny at this point. Dare to dream. 👍

I would say us Scots in terms of being fans in any sport take one hell of a lot of beating in terms of Atmosphere I have been part of it in terms of football , Rugby Union &
Ice Hockey & we can make any Stadium or arena rock to the foundations the only other country I think can replicate this is
