đČđ€Ł MEET THE MAN WHO BUILT A STAND IN HIS BACK GARDEN!!!
VloĆŸit
- Äas pĆidĂĄn 23. 04. 2024
- I visited Camelon Juniors FC just outside of Falkirk and I discovered that a local fan had built a stand in his back garden to see into the football stadium. You don't get this at Ibrox or Celtic Park!
#football #soccer #uk - Sport
Have you ever seen anything like this before?!?!
@@JoshHodginsBwfc619 I know Old Trafford's a bit run down, but that's harsh.
â@gordon1545 haha needs đ reconstruction I support bolton wanderers
Marine FC (Liverpool I think) ground is very close to people's back gardens,
There was a guy on St. Annes Rd in Doncaster that built his own stand at the back of the old Belle Vue ground to watch Doncaster Rovers. It can still be seen on Google maps :)
U should visit Oban saints fc..down in oban đ
If that little stand isnât the epitome of smaller league and junior tier games, Iâm not sure what would be. Still, seeing such a supportive crew of fans shows how much the local team means to fans.
Great work as always.
Well done for highlighting and celebrating the joy that comes with enjoying football in lower league, junior level and none league!
What a brilliant community asset such a club is.
Thanks mate!!
@@FootyAdventures you make the best vids
It's "came" "lin* spoke immediately together
For anyone who hasn't attended a Scottish football ground, the importance of the pie production setup at every level of the game cannot be underestimated.
Heh.
Fun Fact Kevin McAllister who the Falkirk stand is named after played for the Juniors early in his career and is from Camelon.
Crunch the genius is fae Kemlin, awerite Kev !
Ainât that the kid off home alone
When Camelon won the Junior Cup in 94-95 against Whitburn (my local team), I think the score was 2-0 to Camelon and it was played at Fir Park. Every game I went to support Whitburn, they won. I never made it to the final and they lost. I accept full responsibility for that. Sorry Whitburn đ
That little stand is the coolest thing ever!
Hats off to the man.
Love lower league football. Looks like a great ground and the pitch looks fantastic! One of the local teams to me, a blokes back garden backs onto one of the stands and whilst he didnt build a stand, he can happily watch the game over his fence. Love to see it
Haha love that!
The playing surface is much better than Dens Park âŠ.
đ
A Chinese paddy field is better than Densđ, The Juniors pitch is actually top notch.
I want to see you canoe from Ibrox to Orkney FC. Put it on a Patreon and retire early đâ€ïžđ¶
Maybe one day!
The canal actually passes behind Firhill. Paddle the canoe from Hibs to Partick Thistle nil! I'd join you on my kayak, but I'm about a squillion years old. I'd happily sponsor you for that.
The main football you tuber by far đ
Nice to have had you at camelon. Had a good chat with you in the pavilion before the game
Great to see you made it along to Camelon Juniors, Sam. I was sitting with you at Stenny game other week telling you about what a great wee club they are, having supported them as a kid.
Nice! I love fishing, I love pies and a bit of footy.
That is a nice ground, a little quirky. It looks well maintained and loved.
Speaking as an Annan fan, I like the four sides!
Great choice
I made it in your video ahah got a photo with you at the end of the game lovely guy
Great contentđ I seen a clip on tiktok and came over to watch it all. That club is well run, The pitch is superb, some clubs in the top league need to take note.
If i was the owner of the ground maintenance company, Iâd send a quote to Dundee
đđ dundee definitely should be hiring new ground staff â@@mckenr07
What a great channel Sam! I only discovered Footy Adventures today after spotting your Stenhousemuir video by chance. Already watched 5 of your videos and very well done. Love the interviews with the people involved with these small clubs, and seeing small grounds like Camelon Juniors is a real treat. Greetings from Australia.
Thanks so much mate I appreciate that. Iâve made over 750 videos from all over so lots to catch up on if youâve got some spare time. I even started my channel in oz at Central Coast Mariners in 2019. Good times!
All the best mate. Cheers
Great report of a very tidy lower league ground. You can stroll along the canal path from the Falkirk Wheel to get the best view of the stadium. Thanks for your excellent coverage of Scottish football
Another fantastic video Sam đ
Around Wrigley Field in Chicago (baseball) the owners of neighboring buildings built stands on top of their roofs in order to watch the game for free (and then to eventually charge others). The stands are still there and you can still catch a game from atop the rooftops across the street to this day.
I love this video Sam. I know itâs late but could you come to the Steins Thistle vs Cupar Hearts amateur Scottish cup semi final at the Falkirk Stadium tonight im a big fan â€
The majority of people in the Falkirk area know it as Kemlin.
Tell that to the guy who did the voiceovers for the cinema adverts.
@john-hl5tq Christ your going back a bit,you must be as old as me.
@@john-hl5tq lol peter clarks car parts used to cringe when that advert came on at the pictures.
Camelon played in their first junior cup final at Hampden park in 1952 the attendance was 69,959 ,they lost 1-0 .
@snpok524 Second biggest attendance ever at a junior cup final, amazing crowd, against Kilbirnie Ladeside.
ive got one of terrys badges for lewes fc, the qualities great. keep up the good videos mate!
Sam I stay in Camelon, but on Tuesday night I hopped over to watch Kennoway Star Hearts, new ground for me. They literally play in the middle of a farm! Well worth a visit, cracking steak pie
"Poles of uncertainty." đ€Ł
Absolutely fantastic ground and club Camelon. Glad you managed to visit. Alan Moore as manager is a brilliant guy as well
Grew up 10 minutes from Camelon and still haven't a clue how to pronounce it đđ
Yeah I spoke to Alan for a while off camera. Really nice guy and a great club!
â@RossParker1877 Mate if your 10 minutes fae Camelon you surely know it's pronounced Kemlin.
@johngreenhorn8853 other side of the Castlecary Viaduct lol. Where accents go to die
@@RossParker1877 Maybe give you a pass on that one your maybe a wee bit further away than I thought, for some reason I was thinking 10 minutes walking distance, probably because I don't drive.
Brilliant Sam. How do you find these places.
The stand....Brilliant!! đ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł
Cycled past there yesterday. Looks a cracking wee ground with a lovely pitch
Camelon have a SFA licence which isn't surprising with all the off pitch work that has been done.
Brilliant vid palđ
Proud Kemlin boy here, chuffed to see this video!
Immaculate stadium/pitch. Fair play to everyone behind the scenes đđđ
Eden Park Auckland, which is New Zealandâs national/ biggest stadium. Back in the 80âs a man built a stand in his back garden, it seated roughly 50 people, and ironically was nicknamed the "scotsman stand".
When Eden park was redeveloped for the 2011 rugby World Cup finals, this stands view was taken away.
But, if you look closely, there is a small structure inside the ground, in much the same spot, which is clearly a small tribute to the original out of ground stand.
Button vendor repping the Wombles. I was like... "wait I know that badge". Hope John Green is proud of me.
Can that guy not get one or two local Ultras into the smallest stand in Scotland?
Absolutely love this from the fan!
Amazing. Unbelievable. Love it!
Thats fucking class man.
Someone who puts thr "F" word in a sentence, talking about CLASS ,how ironic .
Buckie pie! Only in Scotland. Mad Dog hot dogs next! My mate has a flat overlooking Newlandsfield. He buys a season ticket though.
Another brilliant video!
I'm a Wimbledon fan just like Terry! His badges are great
cool ground, really good pitch & that stand is sweet as đđŒđłđż
Keep it up Samâ€
I used to live in Camelon, and watched Camelon for 8 years, was at Motherwell when they beat Whitburn 2-1 to lift the Scottish Junior Cup, even East Stirling played there
CRACKING LOOKING WEE STADIUM
Love it . Proper football and ground đ
In Germany we don't necessarily have stands on private grounds but something like houses right next to the smaller stadiums is absolutely normal. one example is the TSV Havelse in the northern germany 4th league - the regionalliga nord. There you can watch games from behind the goalside from the comfort of your own apartment if you wish xD
Got to love seeing the club I grew up with in my street be on here
I left a comment a while back about visiting Camelon and glad you have from a larbert boy
That little stand reminds me of the Chicago Cubs, some of the surrounding blocks of flats have little stands on the roof that look down into the ballpark.
Bit different from Wrigley Field đ
This ground is the epitome of a great small club, fantastic
hes an afc wimbledon fan i like him
I went to watch the Boston Red Sox a few years back.. on the far side, the people in the flats have built their own viewing galleries⊠they charge thousands for people to sit in their front room. The Red Sox tried to build up the far stand to get more people in but they lost the court case as it would have stopped people in these apartments from watching the games.
Only in America
I'd watch the hell out of a canoeing from hibs to Ibrox video
I was brought up where that guys stand is in fairly gardens great memories
Another great video Sam, but why doesn't the guy who built a stand in his own garden just pay at the gate and support the club financially ( or maybe he does?)
It always amazes me that junior teams can have better pitches than "top tier" teams(Dundee)
The difference is, that Camelon spend money on their park. Dundee doesn't. All the talk of new stadium plans at Dundee is a sideshow and distraction by those in charge. You can clearly see they are not maintaining what is there.
nice video mate!
100% we need a video from that little stand
did you get along to any of the junior cup semis?
I thought that I had commented on this guy's viewing shed/hut on a video of yours before but it must have been another footy youtuber.........Blair McNally maybe?
Ah man that stand is brilliant đđ»
That was a cool video. Thanks
Here in Brazil, we have great structures, and others like that. đ§đ·
Brazil has an amazing football culture from top to bottom
a bodged-together makeshift stand at the bottom of your garden is living the dream
Went to see them play Whitburn a few month back... I didn't even see that stand there... I stood right in front of it second half as well! đđ€Ł
muy bonito estadio. se ha de ver espectacular verlo en vivo.
Never seen something like this in my life đ
Footy you should definitely visit Kilsyth Rangers Fc seeing as you have never visited a team in Kilsyth đđŒđđŒ
Surprised you didn't get a copyright strike aff that ice cream van tbf đđđ
That man in the Wimbledon coat was right, that does look like a great non league ground. Maybe I'll visit one day, but it is 4 hours away!
Hope the poor guy doesn't get a knock from the council now asking for his building permit!đ€Ł
That stand is classđđ
Are u coming to the Stenhousemuir cup lift
You should get over to Tampa to watch Robbie Neilson
Which footy app does Sam use?
have you visited Orkney F.C. ?
You should do the canoe from one match to another.
2 small observations. 1, roll necks not for everyone. 2, sausage rolls on pies, never the other way around.
Love this
Cheers mate!
I have never seen anything like that ever . Itâs a beautiful wee stadium though itâs better than some league 2 grounds Sam
That guys jacket is trying to suffocate him đ
Leyton Orient have four blocks of flats around the ground, you can rent an Airbnb and watch a match
When Arsenal were at Highbury people would climb on to the roofs of flats behind the Clock End and watch the match.
A stand in his back garden, thatâs epic đ
Dundee need to hire the Groundskeeper
Have you not done any northern league games.
Maryhill fc are 140 yrs old ths year đź
Nice to see a Scottish Non League ground with its own Corporate Box.
This reminds me of the rooftop bleachers on the houses across from wrigley field
Ima go and live at Ibrox and make the 55 titles standđđđ
Camelon Juniors, the team who were indirectly responsible for me becoming a Celtic supporter.
At primary school I saw a group of neds quizzing a boy with a red and white scarf.
Q - Whit team dae ye support? ... A - Camelon Juniors!
Q - Naw, we mean big team ... A - Liverpool !
Q - Naw, we mean Scoattish team ... A - Falkirk!
Q - Naw, we mean Top Division Team ... A - [back to the red scarf theme] Aberdeen!
WRONG ANSWER!!! ... So they beat him up - Hullo Hullo, no prizes for guessing what he was supposed to say.
Very cool backyard stand
+1 for the canoeing.
He should spend money on improving his stand - then offer corporate tickets to local businesses.
Best wee stand in the world
This one is so good
its camelon this is the least unusual thing youd find ,take a walk down the main street or glasgow road ahah
Christ yeah.
Iv been to that ground and never seen that wee stand
