This Lifted and TRD Supercharged Toyota Tacoma 4x4 Pickup Truck is Insane On or Off the Road

- SOLD A supercharged and lifted truck of any variety is just not in my wheelhouse. While I can appreciate the effort that went in to it, and the level of monetary investment and craftsmanship required to put it together to a high level, the end result just isn't something that makes a whole lot of sense to me. Enter this 2009 Tacoma.
Naples, FL, is like a tale of two cities. While the very wealthy build palatial estates on the many beachfront and waterway lots, across the tracks are the people who made the Swamp Buggy Races an event with (limited) national coverage. Bonita Springs, the neighboring town where I live, is home to one of the best roadhouses still left in Florida - Buffalo Chips bar and restaurant. What makes it great - other than the chicken wings - is the mix of people in attendance. You've got very wealthy guys from Bonita Bay and Barefoot Beach, Rednecks from East Bonita, Migrant Laborers, and plenty of Germans and Canadians on vacation. Everyone is celebrating diversity and drinking themselves stupid - it's lovely.
What's the point of all this? Don't know, really. I can say that we tend to cater to Naples' more affluent residents, selling them condo cars and toys to play with. Rarely do we get the lifted truck side of things, and while that's just fine with me, it's nice to get a truck like this in to play with for a while, and potentially find a new home for.
Because this is not my bag, I decided to interview Dalton the detailer for his view on things. Naturally, he was obscene and monosyllabic, but he's the closest thing to an authority on 4x4 trucks we have around here.

When I hear Dalton I always think of the movie 'RoadHouse' with Patrick Swayze. But I loved his description, for her, a 'Pavement Princess'. A useless vehicle for parking on the side of the road for showing off in. Bravo Bill for even driving it.

I have a much milder built Tacoma 2.7 4cyl 5 speed and it's a great truck and I love it! Also have a Lincoln Town Car and a Mark VIII and love those too haha!

You say your not a West of 41 guy but you filmed earlier episodes in front of a home just off Crayton that is well West of 41 and in the midst of the Northern import class!
As for the wheels, those are the high heel stilettos, that are warn for a night out. Imagine a pretty beefy guy, wearing some nice looking tactics gear with logos and plenty of visual flair, and high heels.

Dalton nailed it though. Hobby trophy cult bragging build. Those tires are entirely street worn down. There’s not a single spec of dirt or sand or anything up in the intimate parts of that truck. It looks like a clean new build RC. It’s impressive but all just for show and brag. Not any use.

Finally someone agrees on me with how pointless these lifted trucks are. I can't stand these! All looks with no substance or taste! The best trucks are nice, clean, and bone-stock with no mods! They've never seen a day off road in their lives, and Dalton mentioned the perfect terminology for these trucks: "PAVEMENT PRINCESSES" I personally have my own name for these trucks, it's an acronym. L.P.S.T. (Little Penis Syndrome Truck)
