👍 Badass truck!!! I just ordered a slightly smaller pulley for my Dads 2013 Automatic. It’s a bone stock TRD supercharger with the TRD exhaust. I think 🤔 URD claims +15-30hp swapping out this Pulley. I wonder if it will be noticeable? Oh, so I also saw your older videos & you mentioned that you upgrading the throttle body? I wonder what car or company you got it from? Sounds like it’s a great mod to do!! I also wonder how fast your truck currently is in the 1/4? We took our truck out once...96 degrees which obviously was bad drag race conditions....full tank of gas, steel custom side step bars, roll up tonneau cover, Ran 14.6 in a auto with a 300lb driver Not bad....I’m 260lbs now & want to see what it will do on a cold day with the lighter pulley. Low 14’s would be cool 😎 I’m sure your truck is way faster!!!!
Thanks dude, I really enjoy the truck, it's down right now so I can put new camshafts in. Should be done that in the next week or so. Yeah, when I went from stock pulley to 2.825" pulley it was a very noticeable difference. 10% by butt dyno feels pretty big. When I upgraded the throttle I went with a Tundra 76mm throttle. It just plugs right in - I think URD has some info on their site so you make sure you get the right one - but they're over $1000.00 new, so I found a used one on eBay for about $300. Works great. Don't know what the 1/4 mile time is, I plan on hitting the drag strip next spring (the track is closed now because winter!). Will definitely post a new video when that happens. 14.6 is really good, my friend with a stock auto ran 15.3. Because mine is manual it's going to be a bit slower but if I got low 14s I'd be pretty happy! I'm not a good driver on the strip, tend to baby it off the launch. One thing I noticed with the smaller pulley is it did wear out the clutch a bit prematurely and I went with a UrD stage 3+.
Leigh Detsom Do you remember what year Tundra that 76mm came from. I know 2013 is basically the same truck as yours! We were happy with 13.6 given all the added weight & track conditions. His tonneau cover is a locking adjustable slide back one so it’s not light. I wanted to unbolt the back seat & side steps but my Dad isn’t that hardcore. Obviously since we went a super hot day too. I’m sure it’s a lot faster if we ran it in +60 degrees. Thanks for letting me know about the butt dyno on the slightly smaller pulley. I’m sure it will make my Dad happy! I own a fully built Nitrous LS2 GTO so he has nothing on me but it’s his is a Toyota truck LoL. It’s definitely a sleeper on the streeets! I wish my GTO didn’t have every person rev on me! Gas & noise tickets are expensive in California. I actually had to quiet down my exhaust drastically. Definitely love your truck man!!! That supercharger whine is epic!
My GTO is has a stage 3 clutch & struggles to hook off the line. Definitely a disadvantage having a manual but I love them vs auto. Especially during freeway pulls
I have been boosting it with stock internals for some time, it's been working well. Not without upgrades to manage knock of course, such as water/methanol injection.
Exhaust kills it.
Agreed, if it’s not a turbo setup the exhaust needs to be quieter to really enjoy the whine
wow those whines are crazy that for sure has a different sound pitch than my pulley!
Love the build!

14.6 not 13.6 LOL whoops. . Maybe one day 13.6 if i get my hands on doing the mods!

Do you put your truck in 4 wheel drive high when you race at the strip? I noticed that helps!
Have you upgraded internals to run this much boost or can it take it stock?
I have been boosting it with stock internals for some time, it's been working well. Not without upgrades to manage knock of course, such as water/methanol injection.
