I'm a professional boxer. I love how your channel is accurate and explains in detail of how things work in boxing. No BS, a channel I can recommend to any beginner along side tony Jeffries and precision striking ❤️‍🔥🥊

You missed a key factor that a lot of people over look (myself included as a beginner) is that SNAP in the punch rather than generating your power from stiffness.
You want those shoulders loose so you get the max potential out of your punches. I’m a right handed southpaw so I’m retraining my jab to be more “snappy” like an actual jab than a stiff strong one.
    1. You’ll notice you’re not as tired
2 . Your punches tend to connect more and have stronger impact
    3. Your shoulders become more durable
    4. & last but not least is the SPEED
I’ve noticed when I converted to that snap in the shoulders I throw wayyy faster punches than I did throwing strong stiff ones. I might’ve lost some power, you might lose some power but with repetition, throwing the correct way, you’ll regain your power.
It’s more so you have the correct technique than it is you losing power. You don’t wanna be gassed out cuz you’re throwing haymakers and power shots without realizing it

Informative. Tho, training with high-reps is more for the Slow-Twitch Muscle Fibers (Type I). This form of training ain't gonna do much to increase explosive power and speed.

Hello, I'm not sure but yesterday I got a video on my recommendations about that. It's by a guy called "NasBoxing". I did not watch the video so I do not know if it's good or not, also he gets no views. He might be new.
