Sport Plane Builders PCAD700 Interview

The PCAD 700 was founded by Abrie Muller whose company Performance Composite Aircraft Designs (PCAD) is designing and building the aircraft along with his partner Pierre van der Walt (the owner of Sport Plane Builders located at Wonderboom Airport). The PCAD 700 aircraft was designed and built in South Africa and is the first fully composite turbine driven cabin class aircraft in South Africa. After almost 10 years, two world recessions and a global pandemic the company is still forging ahead given a myriad of delays and setbacks. The PCAD 700 has been designed to fill a gap in the market place with pilots and owners wanting to move up from their high-performance singe or twin piston aircraft into turbine aircraft.
