OKAY! I see people pointing out details that would’ve been signs to Rick that they were still in a simulation, and I’ll point one out as well! Remember the crystals that Morty was holding onto? They never disappeared! Those crystals were part of the previous simulation, so they *should* have disappeared with the previous simulation, but they didn’t!
Even though Rick is pretty mind-fucked at the end of the episode when he'd wasted, I truly believe he knew about Morty the whole time, even though he was still super-pissed about how personal the Zygerians took it.
@Areaninetyone I think he knew all along. He was sarcastic about the realness of morty in the first minutes of the episode. He 'played' with morty while collecting the crystals (he wouldn't do that normally) and he made another zynic commentary about the luck of all components beeing in the small ship. Rick really just acted surprised without the show telling us that explicitly .
oh he knew. He was just acting. Not only does he mention how "real" morty acts in like the first 15 seconds after he runs into him, after this clip ends, the aliens blow themselves up cuz he gave them a fake recipe for his super fuel. So he was never tricked at any point.
Kind of interesting that this Jerry goes from spending a day being the only real person around him to being the only real person left on his Earth after the Cronenberg incident.
Plutonic Quarks, Cesium, and Water. As someone who knows nothing about chemicals, I assume the cesium reaction was just the ignition and the Plutonic Quarks was the actual explosion. Whatever the hell a Plutonic Quark is.
@@ladygeneveve3805 indeed they explode violently but from the videos I've seen its not enough to like cause a massive enough explosion so yeah maybe the plutonic quarks really are like the main bomb. What still pisses me off slightly tho is how the hell did they not realize what was going to happen
he's saying caesium, as in the elemental metal that burns in contact with water, and plutonic quarks. plutonic means highly dense, and quarks are the elementary particles that comprise atoms. in this instance it presumably suggests it adds an extremely dense dose of extra mass/energy to make the caesium-water reaction more intense. it's literally a recipe for an extremely dense caesium bomb that activates the moment you add water.
When Morty found and recognized all of the materials I remembered how Rick mocked about them burning the processors with Morty and realized he already knew he was part of the simulation
the formula would actually make a bomb if you fudged physics a little to make it possible to make something like that. he's saying you take caesium, as in the elemental metal that burns in contact with water, and plutonic quarks, and combine them. plutonic means highly dense, and quarks are the elementary particles that comprise atoms. in this instance it presumably suggests it adds an extremely dense dose of extra mass/energy to make the caesium-water reaction more intense. it's literally a recipe for an extremely dense caesium bomb that activates the moment you add water.
He won Rick knew all along he was in a simulation and so on - he gave them the wrong formula for the fuel so when he left the space station it exploded when they tries to make it
I think rick would have figured out that he's still in a simulation simply by knowing that the game would continue until the zygerians thought they got what they wanted. So he simply played along all the way and made his move at the very end.
Love the title of this episode, M. Night Shaym-Aliens! For anyone who doesn't get it, M. Night Shyamalan is a director who's famous for always having plot twists in his movies.

I think that one of the reasons he wanted to kill Morty while he was drunk in the end of the episode was because he knew he was in a simulation while making the "dark matter" fuel, however, he did not expected Morty to be simulated, thats why he says "You simulated my grandson genitalia?"
So they kidnapped Jerry and put him in a simulation inside Rick's simulation all to make the simulation that Rick was in feel more real by having Jerry there to show real emotions

Don't forget mixing ceasium with water.

1:49 It's clearly a trap because rick know how dumb morty are so he can't know these elements
Obviously Rick made them choose the wrong ingredients so when they tried making it they blew up
one more thing, Jerry has a suit, but Rick knew when they saw Jerry. Jerry's suit should have disappeared when his simulation broke down
