This was installed 01/20/22 - No issues to date.
I am aware that I am losing the remote start option from my fob, but I don't use that one anyway. I have Drone Mobile which allows me to use my phone for everything with my truck: Keyless entry, remote start/stop, cabin temperature & battery voltage.
The 2017+ fob is a different frequency so that is not an option. - Auta a dopravní prostředky

Same scenario. 2011 ford f150 jets are cut and all the buttons work but the keywont start the truck. I need to do whatever the forscan thing is so I can start the truck.
Also have remote start. It not currently enabled on the truck but it's installed, not sure if the for scan tool can turn that on or not.

I saw a video about how someone programmed the same key fob to activate the command start by pressing the lock button THREE times, but now i cant find the damn video. Since you have the forscan, you wanna give it a try? Command starters are really nice up here in northern alberta!

From everything I have read, no. If you find that you can, please let me know.
What if you tapped the trunk button as if remote start, does it do anything?
It does nothing.

All he hasmd to do is after he took the first key out put the new key 🔑 in an turn it onces it gets out of the key mode it starts done it alot for ppl
