  • Ireland clinched the Triple Crown for the first time since 2018 and kept their Guinness Six Nations title hopes alive with a 26-5 bonus-point victory over Scotland in Dublin.
First-half tries from Dan Sheehan and Cian Healy put them in control at the break, with Pierre Schoeman responding for the visitors just before half-time to make it 14-5.
Further tries from Josh van der Flier and Conor Murray wrapped up the bonus-point, securing the Triple Crown while forcing France to win against England in the Super Saturday finale to secure the Championship crown.

I'm happy with how this 6 nations played out. A narrow loss in Paris and bonus points all round in the other 4 games. We can be quietly confident moving forward.

Yh fully agree. It shows that this team still has a lot to improve on whilst also demonstrating how good they already are. It also seems like the atmosphere in the camp is so much more positive than it was in the schmidt era which is always a good thing for any team, and especially one like Ireland which is so cohesive.

The most important thing is that it doesn’t seem like Ireland have peaked yet. If they keep building upon these performances going into the RWC, then a semi final is more than achievable

One big incident missing from these highlights: Stuart Hogg butchering a 3-on-1 overlap and being forced into touch by a great tackle from Keenan.

Extended highlights... yet it's just the tries, each with 7 replays and the conversions, oh and 2 mins at the beginning wasted. Would be nice to see some of the other good attacking play (e.g Hogg break and try saving tackle by Keenan)

@@scherzkeks7524 agro from Ireland was because Russell was deliberately preventing the Irish players from getting the ball so that they could restart the game quickly - deliberately slowing the game down, as Russell knew they'd be going for the bonus-point try. Spot of bad sportsmanship from Russell TBH. The guy was justifiably dropped from the starting lineup, and has a serious attitude problem

Gibson-Park - Definitely won't be around much longer with up and comers like Craig Casey and Nathan Doak. Just need Murray to get back to his best too.
Lowe - Winger is a very competitive spot. Sometimes he starts. Sometimes he doesn't. Personally Stockdale and Conway fit and in form are the two best wingers imo. Mack Hansen is the better "import" and he qualifies through an Irish parent, not residency.
