Massive congrats to Ireland! Better in every facet of the game. Hugely gutting as a Welsh fan and worrying performance for the future, our regional level perhaps showing. I definitely think Ireland win this match with or without the injuries we had. Good luck in France to my Celtic cousins, definitely a tougher match ahead!!❤️

you can see why mack hansen got man of the match, his distribution was so insane. Take ringrose try at 60 mins. Ireland are in exit defensive set when instead of the box kick wales elect to carry. Porter strips the carrier and Ireland take possession. On the very first offensive phase Mack Hansen makes it all the way up from his kick receiver position to play second receiver pivot, and it is this that gives ireland +1 on the right side and therefore the try. His distribution is going to be an even bigger headache for teams prepping defensively. Ireland really needed a second playmaker/distributor at second receiver and it looks like a fit!

@Razor Mouth not really, Hansen had more metres made but Conway's stats were better across the board, tackles made, defenders beaten, 2 trys, rucks hit, kicks regathered.
Either way Jvdf was the standout player by miles.

as for Wales, 7 key players missing from the first team, nearly a shut out like the U20 game the night before. Ireland were rampant, as usual but caused Wales a lot of grief with different options.
new players always cause havoc for defenders like Mack Hansen. Good to see Bundee Aki scored, he deserves it. Josh Adams shoulder barge was reckless because he was frustrated in the 1st half.
