  • This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between China and Australia. Recently, Premier Li Qiang visited Australia, underscoring the increasingly mature and stable relationship between the two countries.
In celebration of this milestone, Global Vision has invited Professor David Goodman, a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Social Sciences and Director of the China Studies Centre at the University of Sydney. With over 50 years of experience in Chinese studies, Professor Goodman has deep connections with China. He will share his insights on China's development and changes, discuss the differences in governance and market systems between China and the West, and recount his personal stories related to China.

Lower end They make solar panels that sold to companys. Higher% makes memory chip and ram. To do processor it's refinered to 99% pure silicon.
China has 6 of the top 10 company, and last yr china made it cheaper and useing dam very high voltage special generator they can now use arch furnace to get that 2,400 d.g heat cheaply. China is drive. No way we and the e.u can shut them out. Tons more they are ahead .

Insightful talk! Potato in Chinese Mandarin is 'tudou'/土豆 but in Taiwan it is called 'malingshu'/马铃薯. Yes, in some parts or region 'tudou' means 'peanuts' or 'huashengmi'/花生米。

David’s views on China is most accurate of a Westerner most of whom are half-baked at best.
China and Chinese people had had suffered too much since the first Opium War with UK in 1840.
In the last 150 years, Westerners and Japanese had had caused too much sufferings and hardships in China.
Hence soon after the Korean War in 1953 when US + Western nations embargoed all products to China, toilet papers included, Chairman Mao had said China and US would come to a direct war sometime in d future and China must not be afraid to sacrifice half of her population in exchange for a total annihilation of her enemies.
Now that arrogant but gullible US politicians have made China one of its enemies, it looks like Mao’s prediction is coming soon.
No one is sure if US Empire could last forever.
