Fertilizer Plan to Increase Grain Size, Weight, and Quality
Soil Preparation and Testing:
Conduct a soil test before planting to determine nutrient levels and soil pH.
Adjust soil pH to 6.0-7.5 for optimal sesame growth.
Organic Amendments:
Incorporate well-decomposed compost or manure (10-20 tons/ha) into the soil to improve soil structure and fertility.
Fertilizer Application:
Nitrogen (N):
Total requirement: 40-60 kg/ha.
Apply in split doses:
