This game holds a special place in my childhood - M&L:PIT was my first Nintendo DS game...ahh, the good ol' days. I can remember it like it was yesterday. I feel like this game truly brought out the unique aspects of the Nintendo DS having two screens & having the babies on the X + Y buttons. A very satisfying game - an even MORE satisfying soundtrack! Enjoy this BANGER remix to the battle theme of Mario & Luigi: Partners In Time!

Truly an underrated sequel that didn't get the remastered version, but you still got spark for this remix that for sure!

There is hope for the Mario&Luigi series after they showed Luigi dark moon on the switch
I feel like if it had more of a proper backtracking system and an expansive overworld (like not just peachâs castle) then it wouldâve been much better.
I used to think as a kid that if you completed the game you could visit the present day overworld. Imagine if that was the case lmao.
â@@x8bitpixelfor me it was the balancing. Lots of tough battles mid to late game, and even using the bro moves equivalent, the battles are bloody long. It's probably the one game in the series that needs a remake the most. Everything else about the game was solid aside from the ridiculous amount of HP the bosses had.
Being that this is was my first introduction to the Mario & Luigi series, it does put a smile on my face that itâs getting attention here.

The music of this series is often slept on, Iâm so glad youâve given it the limelight it deserves :). This is fab! I hope you do both of the sister themes, their music is so dark compared to the other boss battles of the series and Iâd love to see your take on them :D

My favorite franchise being remixes by one of my favorite remixers. Truly delightful, I love this tune. Any Mario RPG battle theme is always a win

@@jaycup1487 you definitely should!! The DAW I use is Ableton, however most of my plugins are external for sound selection - itâs mostly a combination of Nexus4 & Serum

Ooh, I love intense battle themes! They always get me pumped up! đ You really went all out with the remix here, great buildups, beat, bassline, and perfect use of SFX! And I love the half-time drum rhythm that you incorporate in some parts, it works really well! đ

Iâd be lying if I said the shroobs didnât scare me when I was a kid, quite literally at age 7 I had a nightmare I still remember vividly regarding Princess Shroob.
Fortunately I overcame the fear when I was 11 and finally beat the damn thing.
