I think it's a little small. For my hand size I think the perfect screen size is between 4.7" and 5"

Dear Tech Brothers, thanks for this accurate review (special thanks for the battery test). I would like to know if some of the most annoying defects of the Cubot Kingkong mini (first version) have been fixed in the latest KKM3:
1) heat during calls (when calling without earphones)
2) unstable, inaccurate light/proximity sensor causing poor management of display automatic brightness
3) poor quality loudspeaker, low volume during calls whith loud speaker ON

Thank you! The manufacturer says that the smartphone can be kept underwater for 1.5 meters for 30 minutes, but I didn't check it out.

I think this smartphone is good for hiking. Maybe it's just the camera isn't great.

Is it really tough (rugged)? I saw that it does not have any certification, neither falling nor water protection. There are reports of customers that stopped operating when submerged in water.
Previous Cubot KingKong Minis seemed to break easily for a supposed "Rugged" mobile.
Yes it is all the ports are sealed.. including the USB port has a rubber seal over it!!!
Any phone would have trouble submerged in water taking pictures you're better off putting it in a plastic bag and then doing that... 👀

You can look in settings but I never had a problem with it
To be honest it's a great small phone but it gives me problems with certains apps. For the first time in my android history it does weird things like not activation the alarm due to a ''permission thing''. For example my bankapp crashes all the time when I want to transfer money or whatever. Maybe these are userfaults but with my previous andoidphones I didn't have any issues like these.
Yes, it sounds like a software problem. Perhaps you should contact the manufacturer and they can fix the problem.

What I missed in this review is how it is to type on.
I use the mini2 pro which has even slightly shorter screen and typing is no issue at all. It takes probably few days to get used to it if coming from larger screen but that's it. And I don't have small hands.
I use this phone everyday I don't seem to have a problem every once in a blue moon you might get a hiccup but for the most part texting is just fine!!! And you can always customize your keyboard size and everything.
Does it work in the US?
I would like the know the answer too for the USA, I want something small.
@@MW-my6mt I use it for WiFi and I use it for calls as well with it.. works Great if your not a gamer the battery will last you about 12 to 16 HOURS a day!!... But a cool phone goes right on the pocket and it's durable.. if I had to complain about it I wish they would have had maybe a 3800 battery.. other than that works great!!

@@MrSojek it's true is not possible to confirm it. However it seems the phone is being manipulated freely till that time. It seems that is not till czcams.com/video/lBK4mo55Epg/video.html when the power port is opened for the first time. BTW there are several comments in amazon confirming it.

size isn't 4,5 inches because I have samsung a3 which is 4,5 inches and it is bigger than cubot
Samsung A3 has a different screen ratio. Also, the Samsung smartphone may have thicker bezels.
I bought this phone to replace big 6inch company phone. Its the slowest phone with 6gb ram I played with. Animations are slow, apps starts slow. The only pros of the phone is durability and small size. I even disabled majority of apps in sertings as YT, gmail etc...just left essential apps for calling and texting. This phone could be saved by flashing lineageos but there is no any custom rom for it. Wouldnt buy again. 😢

I agree with you. The camera is especially bad in low-light conditions.
@@TechBrothersReviews This phone is VERY cheap...but there are so few made this small size. Compromise heavily on features like a camera to keep price low. For the money, I feel it is excellent. I own it in Australia...works perfectly here, so do the Ulefones; I've had them too.

4.5inch a bit too small nowadays. I like to browse internet so 5 to 5.5 inch would be better.
Yes, 4.5 inch screen is small for surfing internet and social medias, but I think it is enough for calls and messages.
