- My search for the perfect "second phone" - a small, rugged smartphone, has brought me to the CUBOT Kingkong Mini 3.
Join me for the unboxing and initial review and let's see if this is the one
Hoping to get this.
professional - Simplified,
The mini 2pro or mini 3 or pocket?
In your initial month, please do test the water and dust resistance!
Yes I will. Thanks. I am currently using it rigorously as my daily driver. It is holding up so far but more tests ongoing. Follow up video in the coming weeks
are you in USA or canada, did it work for the band network on 4g,3g,2g? which carrier? its wifi 5g capable? bluetooth? how is phone calling clarity and connection? thanks
Hi,
I am not in the US/Canada so I don't know about the network bands and carriers there. It is unlocked for free networks, so definitely worth trying but not sold in the US (as much as I know). It is 4g/LTE compatible but not 5g. Bluetooth and other connection are good.
U should put the camera on your head man.. So we can see the phone
Thanks for the feedback. Hopefully subsequent videos will be better; planning to get a 2nd camera for overhead shots
Does it have a notification LED at the front?
Hi. Happy new year. I don't remember seeing an LED. I no longer have the phone here, but I don't think so.
Hey MD are you still using the Surface Pro X or have you switched to a Pro 9 5G?
Hi Daniel, I am no more using the Pro X. But no, I did not get the Pro 9 5G. I got the Surface Laptop Studio. I needed the Extra power for more video editing.
I believe the Pro 9 5G is a significant upgrade on the Pro X in terms of chip power but still not large enough to compete with Intel. I am waiting to see what the Nuvia chips will bring when they are released hopefully next year (Pro 11 5G maybe...?)
@@BenjaminMudiaga yes I think you’re right the Nuvia chips should come when the Qualcomm deal expires too. I think the current deal is not great as I heard Qualcomm charge a larger license fee even when the RAM or SSD goes up, even though they don’t manufacture the SSD or the RAM
i got 145€
Did you get it in Europe?
