I'm very happy that you are back to Pentatonix and that we will have Tonix Tuesdays. Excellent idea. We'll be here. All of their Evolution Of... videos are amazing. My favorite is "Evolution Of Rihanna". They performed the Evolution Of... videos live on tours.

Avi is astonishing here. The segues are tough enough for the ones singing the lyrics, and they do (as always) a fantastic job. But for that bass line...to make those changes on the fly without the words to anchor it...just...wow!

And also you're literally the only reactor I've seen who pointed out the way Kirstin sings the "miracle" part. It's so cool to see that because I was always obsessed with that part. Pretty cool you did the evolution of MJ just after his birthday!! You notice everything!!! You are so good at picking out the slight changes that I haven’t noticed. Then again I have watched this video countless times!

Would love to see you do a reaction to their 4th of July performance on the PBS Special, A Capital Fourth, where they did "Seasons of Love" from "Rent". One of the most satisfying and funniest video I've ever seen is a rendition of the scale that is Mitch - from lowest to highest - funny - yes - for in his upper levels ('dog' pitch as you called it) he imitates a marker on a white board!! I kid you not ^*^

Mary here on Richard's phone I have been listening to Pentatonix for quite a few years and it seems that every year they get greater and greater. I would love to see a sing off between Pentatonix home Free and there's another well-known group that is equally as good as the rest of them and see a sing-off between the three of them or have them all three work on one group of songs together
The evolution videos are all safe (I've never seen anyone ever blocked for reactions to the evolution videos in the 5 years I've followed them). All of their very early stuff is safe too (2011-2013). It wasn't until they won their first Grammy and signed with RCA that copyrights became an issue, but the evolution videos are all safe, regardless of when they came out
I have watched them perform this live. It was just as good on stage. They truly are amazing. Thanks for the great reaction as always!

@@susanpeterson9947 definitely. After having heard their version of "a little drummer boy", I was more than surprised about the arrangement of "come all 'ye faithful"... in a positive way, of course.
I've played this video at least thirty times with different reactors, and not one has mentioned the little phrase at the end of "I'll Be There" from the theme from "Ben," "You've got a friend in me." Did you catch that? Nobody has referenced that so far, when they've named most of the cuts from everything else. By the way, your reactions are epic! I love the way you name other artists and songs we should check out. I've found stuff I like that I would never have known about otherwise. Cool!

I suggest you watch the 2016 popspring performance of this. Maybe not as a reaction ( we’d all love a comparison reaction. Just saying) but just for yourself to see how good they are at performing this in front of a crowd. Not that this one isn’t live but it’s something different to sound just as good on a big stage in a huge venue while moving around the whole time. The sound quality of that performance is very good too since it was recorded by mtv.
Recommend their Seasons Of Love as televised last 4th of July.
Also, Kirstin sang 3 songs at the Elsie Fest last night. They are The Wizard And I, Gravity, and Stranger To The Rain. There are good videos by Jenn The Broadway Nerd.

Coincidentally enough, or maybe not at this point, my dog loves Mitch. Every time I put them on the TV she sits transfixed in front of it and doesn't move until there's no Mitch anymore. She doesn't pay that much attention to me

YES!!! Yes I love that you praised Avi....I am a huge fan....Both Avi and Kevin were so ignored by most 'reactors' who focused only on the Trio...don't get me wrong they are brilliant....But without those flawless transitions and rhythms just moving the whole thing along it would not have been such an awesome hit. I always loved seeing Avi & Kevin up front as you can see just how hard they work. Have you 'reacted' to their 'No' video....as it features Avi & Kevin having fun and Avi holding the longest ever bass notes lol. Waiving from Australia

Tonix Tuesdays will now be my favorite day of the week! Love your reactions and your Jack Assery! You are so entertaining, yet informative and knowledgeable! Would love for you to watch any of their Evolution of videos. They did Ariana Grande, Beyonce and Rihanna! Also, fun live ones are Gangnam Style (with bloopers, too, if you have time) and Thrift Shop! They were earlier performances but so fun! Thanks!! We’re going to try evolution of Beyoncé but that scares me because Beyoncé videos were murder on the channel for blocks and strikes. That’s why I haven’t done another one :(

DJ flawless victory. Excellent breakdown. Just for analytics I rewatched this 5x to listen to each part. Originally I was drawn to Avi, because well it's Avi. But going back and focusing on each part gave me a new view point than I've ever used. Domo Origato DJ-san.

Scott, Mitch and Kirsten wanted to sign up for the Sing Off as a trio and they probably would have done well but not won. Every judge on multiple occasions commented on Avi and Kevin laying the foundation for everything built on top. They are the "meat and potatoes" that made Pentatonixs into the super group of a capella.

It would be awesome to see your reaction to Ted Neeley's performance of Gethsemane in the 2006 recording which can be found on youtube. He was basically the first really big person to ever play the role, and in my opinion, the best performer in the history of the role in terms of the ways he approached the G5
