"That's Mitch?" - reasonable question to seeing Mitch for the first time in every video. He/She's (Mitch uses both) always a different person, it's amazing.
SuperFruit also does a Beyoncé medley and she tweeted scoot it and called it flawless. p.s. Scott arranged this one.
No not this one maybe the Superfruit one.
@@gailseatonhumbert9199 actually I am correct. Scott is a Superfan. He knew who should sing what and he arranged it. Of course, in this group no one singly does anything as they all input and arrange…but be was the driving force with this one.

You're right, this Evolutiom video is one of their earlier ones. If you haven't done them yet (I'm checking after I write this comment) I'd love to see your reaction to the two newer Evolution videos - Rhianna and Ariana Grande. Both videos feature Matt, the new member. I really think the latter shows them locked into their sound and groove to an incredible degree.
I would say that I consider the 90s Dance Medley to be the most recent of their medley work, but it's not filmed continuously like the Evolution videos are. It's also super worth checking out to hear how incredible their transitions and execution are as they have continued to grow as a group.

I’m seeing a lot of people suggesting Superfruits Beyoncé Medley, which I think you should absolutely do. It is my favorite Superfruit video it’s amazing!! Also, you get an awesome surprise of seeing Scott taking over Kevin’s job for a short time in the vid and beatboxing, something a lot of people often miss but it’s my favorite part!!!! 💙

I really enjoy your reactions. As a MusicTeacher you come in with just the right amount of information/instruction in a way that does not come off as "I know better than all" or "I'm going to explain every single thing and break it down". Many "Vocal/Music teachers tend to come in with that type of attitude and it gets really old really quick. You've always been one of my favorite reactors because you have the pure "fan/enjoyment of the music" mixed in and it's a perfect ratio. Mitchy is one of my top 3 singers in the world and I love that he changes his look for whatever suits him, I hate "crowd followers" and love those who just live their life. As a singer and someone who played with the Houston Symphony Orchestra for 2 years straight out of High School....Pentatonix is and always will be my favorite musical group. The skill and talent level it takes to do what they do...well I'm not sure people completely get what it takes and how much practice and training they put in to continually get better and "up" their game. Thank you for you great reactions, they're always a pleasure!!!

So often I find myself paying too much attention to negative comments or the numbers and analytics. CZcams doesn’t make it easy to go the other way with all the bright logos and arrows telling me if a video is “under performing” Tonix tuesdays was part of me bringing back a theme for something fun that made it enjoyable for me and hopefully all of you to watch and have a reason to tune in.
I started this channel as a hub for me to express my love for this art form and hopefully act as a conduit to people that wanted an explanation for why they liked something. That’s the entire point and it seems like you have grasped that in full.
Please know that even though we haven’t met, you have truly touched my souls and heart with your comment. I’m going to show Janelle now like a proud kid who just wants approval.

@@TempleMusicAcademy I know the negative comments are hard, but I've come to believe that some people just make a hobby of being mean and nasty on the internet because they need some form of attention. I've learned that the less attention you pay to these people or don't show them "the hurt or bothered" reaction they want, then they tend to go find someone else to bother. I know its easier said than done, but there's no reason that people should be giving you negative comments, you're great at what you do, so don't let them take your joy away from you. I wouldn't even waste my energy reading the negative comments or nastiness....its not worth it. Just keep being you, your great. And I absolutely love Tonix Tuesdays!!!!!
This evolution is insane! Loved your reaction. Please add Say Something (A Great Big World x Christina Aguilera) to your list. Kirstie has the lead and is stunning, Kevin plays the cello while beatboxing and the layering in the bridge will slay you. I didn’t love the original version of this song, but the PTX version is on several of my playlists. Love Tonix Tuesdays!!
I think you're forgetting that PTX doesn't do covers, they do upgrades.
Repeating many others - please react to the Superfruit Beyoncé Medley. It's a medley of songs from Beyoncé's self-titled album, rather than an evolution... and since it's just Scott and Mitch, the focus is just on their singing and features Scott on piano as a background track. That and the Superfruit medley of Rihanna's Anti album are two of my favorite things, ever.

I love this video and your reaction to it. It is from early on, when their videos were one take and very raw. I love the humor they put into so many videos, like Thrift Shop and Making Christmas. There was a video where they met with Diane Sawyer at World News Tonight, standing on one side of a huge news room full of people, they sang this whole medley, no notes, no mics, and it sounded perfect. I think that video was taken down, but it sure proved they could do this live.

@@TempleMusicAcademy Awesome! I don't think you would get any complaints from the Pentatholics! :) I think you would want to start with their Defying Gravity video. Their Beyonce medley, Feeling Myself, Frozen Medley, La La Land Medley, any of their Future Friends originals (my favorite is Guy.exe) and my all time favorite of theirs is Empire Medley. Man, it would be awesome content to see your take on Superfruit as well as PTX! Superfruit is a bit more R rated sometimes while PTX is more PG. Some of their songs have some language but it gets the strawberry bleep if the language gets too bad (f-bomb). Not everything has language in it though, just some. You would want to play Superfruit videos all the way through to the end, though. They usually have some fun stuff/bloopers at the end. Thanks for doing it if you want to try it!
Many don’t realize how in sync that Kevin and Avi are that at times they sound like one person.
I get the feeling that they take the transitions as important and crucial to the medley as any of the individual songs. They’re FLAWLESS!
This is definitely older video. This was during the same timeframe as Can’t Hold Us (which is also worth checking out)

Yeah, this is an older video because Mitch is in his 'ordinary citizen' disguise. While he was still young and shy and hadn't found his feet he looked like everybody. Once he found his personal worth he bloomed and got brave and started looking like Mitch, whomever that might be today.
Just an FYI, all of PTX Evolution of vids are all done live singing an done in one take! No pre-recorded or produced.

Loving 'Tonix Tuesdays. Have you reacted to 'Come Along' yet? It's a weird one, but a *lot* of fun. The original Cosmo Sheldrake version is even weirder, though. I love the brighter energy they give to it.

@@jamezbond0074 "Rather Be" goes back a few years, but is one of my favorites because of the Kirstie lead. The other two are recent. Both were actually on last year's Chrstmas album, but the live version of "Seasons of Love" was for the PBS 4th of July special. Again, Kirstie absolutely slays it in both of them.

I've never liked Beyonce, but the capabilities of PTX are just phenomenal. Not just their "instruments", but the arrangement is perfect for them, to show off their singing capabilities.
