Thank you! The silly manual adds unnecessary steps by telling you to take the bolts out & remove the assembly. Your whole video was probably less time than it took me to dig out the 10mm wrench loosen the bolts & replace them (literally the only size I don't have in my ratchet set). This is so much more efficient! Next time I won't be driving around with a lightbulb until I "have time" to replace it, I can stroll right out of the store & be done with it. Thankfully I watched this before engaging in a wrestling match with the assembly. 👏 By the way, mine's a 2012 (old body style before they made them smaller).

Thanks for the video man. I'd looked at a couple of others that involved taking out the whole headlight lens assembly - unnecessarily. You saved me a lot of time - more than makes up for the time I've taken to post this comment. 👍 👍
Very helpful, thank you. Would have been better if you had someone holding the light, though. There are vids that have you remove the entire headlight assembly for, I think, a complete replacement. Yours is the best for removing/replacing only the headlight BULB. Saved me a lot of time and aggravation, especially doing it in sub-zero temp!
I read where the 2006-2012 Hyundia Santa Fe's were all the same, but in my 2011 I had to turn the bulb to the outside, not inside to get the bulb out, unlike in this video for the 2010. However, once I did that, the replacement was easy and didn't require taking out the whole assmebly as in other videos on CZcams. What a waste of time that would be.
The real problem comes with the left headlight where the battery lives and a heavy cable for it. I can't get my average size hand in there enough to grab the bulb. I have to come up with a tool to get in there.
