- Huge thank you to vitesse and nadia for recording this, I am sure most of you all know vitesse, but nadia is an extremely underrated player who has beaten extremes like Digital Descent and Subsonic and has 80% on Zaphkiel, alongside some excellent runs on The Golden. She is one of the most dedicated people I know and is a very good friend of mine, so I would appreciate it if you checked her out, let’s get her to 300 subs!

NOTE: I know the cut at 2:57 is extremely bad and kinda ruins the flow of the level, but it was made like that so the music sync could be preserved, there was a very weird issue with the syncing of the song and the two clips that could only be fixed by aligning the clips over each other. I hope its not too big a deal and that you guys understand :)
NOTE #2: I also know that there are weird blue arrows at 3 spots near the end of the level, sorry about that, they were for merging purposes and I forgot to delete them, they aren’t that big of a deal though.
Well, here it is. My Uta full-song layout. After 75+ hours in the editor and a ridiculously long wait to get a full recording, Shinjiru is finished. I started this ambitious layout on the 17th of March, and it has been about a month since I finished it. It only took me two weeks to make, but I slaved away at it, doing 30 seconds a day for that full 14 day period. I started it with no intention of making it a full layout, but as I fell more in love with what I had made I slowly started to accept that I simply had to finish it. A month and 1 week later, here we are. I am glad that I have completed this project, and there’s nothing more that I can say then I really hope you enjoy.

norkbork this is literally my favorite song and there’s no other “good” layouts of it. I’ve tried making gameplay for Uta but it’s just not the same plus I got bored after I hit a minute of gameplay. I’m sure a whole bunch of people would like to play this

It took me a hot minute to finish this video but it was worth it it he layout looks so fun for one of (if not) the longest extreme demons ever made in geometry dash.

This is actually quite nice,but I wanted to give you some advice for your future layouts:
- Your usage of speeds was a bit inconsistent. In such long layouts, you need to make sure that you're not neglecting any part from speed changes, specially when the parts surrounding it have them. I know some parts of the song can be really exciting and you just start building like there's no tomorrow and just forget about it, but try to keep that in mind.
- The layout itself, albeit nice, was a bit too monotone for 9 minutes. You reused too much gameplay and *in my opinion* it ended up being too repetitive. Try it come up with new ways to interpret the song, don't be afraid of doing it because it's going to open so many doors to your creativity to express itself.
After all of this, just telling you Good Job. Not everyone can create a 9 minute layout and keep it up to your standards, so huge congrats for that :D

Honestly one my new favorite layouts in 2.1. No doubt about it. Also the best 9 minute level I’ve seen, probably better than other XXL layouts. I would honestly love to see this decorated, but we’ll see what the future has in store. Thanks so much for making this masterpiece, and here’s to a really awesome layout :D
This was really cool dude, impressive tp keep something interesting for 9min long. Hope this gets decorated. One thing tho, the wave blue orb spam did get a bit repetitive but it does have a charm as it keeps a part of the level and it doesn't seem like the beginning just left if you know what I mean lol.

To be honest just the fact that it is 9 minutes is already great accomplishment. I can't imagine working on gameplay for a level this long and you've managed to keep the gameplay interesting the entire way as well!

Pretty amazing job, layout might feel a bit simple and repetitive, but i think things like this happen when someone do a XL layout.
yeah it’s repetitive definitely cause it’s so long, just kinda a side effect of that. and i do agree it’s simple, but that’s just how i like to make my layouts; the crazy gameplay mechanics that things like belloq or new record use get extremely buggy as a result of their complexity and to avoid that i like to stray away from that type of gameplay and make more traditional but wel synced gameplay if you know what i mean

This layout is very impressive to say the least. I’m so delighted to have been able to watch such impeccable gameplay. The layout fits the song very well by respecting the intensity of the song very well with its gameplay.
0:06 - 0:39 : The beginning starts of very slow with the song, which is also true for the music. It features the mini cube game mode with mostly slope gameplay. Fairly easy but challenging enough for it to fit in with the rest of this level
0:39 - 0:58 : Now we’re getting into the meat of the song, this is where it truly starts. This part is filled with slightly harder cube timings, mostly because of the increase speed compared to the previous one. The rest of the game modes are auto, which is understandable, but unfortunate (basically underwhelming). You were trying to emulate the 1/4 beat because of the guitar, but didn’t want to add any spam, you could’ve just done 1/2 ones in my opinion. It’s at least more exciting than an auto part.
0:58 - 1:52 : Similar problem as the previous one, has a bit of auto parts but to a lesser extent. Other than that, this part is basically flawless. There’s a good bit of variety so it keeps the layout interesting and exciting, which is why this part is a lot better than the previous one.
1:52 - 2:48 : Very similar to the second part but a lot better in my opinion. There’s so much variety compared to the second part. Truly one of the best.
2:48 - 2:57 : Nine seconds of pure beauty. The symmetry of the duals show the harmony of the two vocals in unison. It looks very consistent, fun and not too hard to sight-read. Features beautiful sync and for some reason that robot dual and the cube dual just fills me with euphoria. Beautiful.
2:57 - 3:07 : Pretty underwhelming, just because of how beautiful the previous part was. Looks like pretty standard gameplay.
3:07 - 3:25 : Definitely 1up’s the previous part by a long shot. Not talking about that gorgeous wave part, fits so well with the guitar.
3:25 - 3:44 : The songs finally starts slowing down a bit, still waiting for that second dual… Meanwhile this part is a good transition between the madness of the previous dual to the later parts of this song. The UFO stands out from the rest, it simply looks really fun and fast paced. I also enjoy that wave right at the end.
3:44 - 4:03 : Didn’t include this part with the previous one because of that ship at the beginning. It just stands out a lot from the rest of the level to me, because of the previous ship parts, they were short and basically filler. This one fits very well with that guitar solo. It looks quite hard compared to the previous parts though. Thankfully the gameplay looks very fluid and fun.
4:03 - 4:40 : Nothing too special, it just fits the song very well. The wave at 4:20 looks very hard though.
4:40 - 5:18 : Nothing special either, good buildup though.
5:18 - 5:27 : HERE WE ARE BABY!! My favorite part. Now we are expanding for simple symmetry. The two vocals have taken their own turn, all of that while retaining the harmony. Phenomenal sync and the way that the icons bounce around the screen is just exhilarating. Just looks hard to learn, but when you do it, OH BOY it feels good. It’s like the Belloq ship dual, it simply looks very appealing. I don’t know how you did this but… good job. :D
5:27 - 5:36 : Similar to the part after the first dual. I do think that it’s slightly better and more exciting. I just really don’t like that straight line auto section.
5:36 - 6:15 : I like how similar this part to the first part. This one just expands on it. It has although a lot less slopes.
6:15 - 6:34 : Just like the second part of the song. A bit more variety. And I really like that mini wave part.
6:34 - 7:16 : Quite sudden fast gameplay, just like the song. Not much to say here, the UFO and ship parts look fun here.
7:16 - 8:12 : Just a filler part, nothing really special.
8:12 - 8:21 : Here we go again! This is the weakest dual in my opinion. It unfortunately doesn’t expand from the first dual, even less so for the second one. Stays pretty symmetrical in the beginning. The good thing is that it doesn’t look too hard to learn, even easier than the first dual.
8:21 - END : Similar to the part after the second dual, very exciting. I just don’t like the auto section at he end there, would’ve wanted something more for the end of the song.
In conclusion this is definitely one of the best layouts I have every seen. It features an amazing song and a great variety of game modes. I truly “believe” that Shinjiru deserves the title of masterpiece.
