I would recommend the Duramax tuner stock trans tunes with the dsp5 switch I run them on my lbz and run it on the economic tune witch is 80 horse power over stock and it’s a daily driver and when I want power I’ll bump it up to level 5 or if I’m towing I’ll go to the tow tunes I think that’s a better set up then just one just in my opinion
My truck is in right now gettin 5 efi live tunes and a dsp5 switch. Theyre using a v2. Roughly how long does that process take? Its a professional shop
Any clue where I can find a boost leak in my LBZ? i’ve got one and I put a hoseclamp somewhere behind the wheel well it seems to have fixed a little bit but i’m still getting a code for low boost.
Just get an edge cts23evolution and put it on tow tune or the next one up. You'll love it. Domt go to hot setting unless you wanna do your trans in the future though. You can find them used for a good price

Yes you can tune it just like that. I would suggest getting an egr delete before tuning, so that whoever makes your tune files can add that you have no egr so that way the check engine light will not be on. Also depending on where you tune it from if you have a lift pump you can get possibly plus 50hp rwhp if you have a lift pump

Flooring the gas pedal from a dig on a straight smooth road with zero load or trailer attached isn’t ‘beating’ on your vehicle in the slightest. That’s just feeding a very neurotic joyless mindset that some very obsessive compulsive people prescribe to. I know you love your truck but jesus that’s ridiculous! Have you ever towed a large load before? Have you plowed heavy deep snow before during a storm with the bed full of sand bags and cinder blocks? That’s what these vehicles are made for. They’re built using heavy duty components that are made to be subjected to well beyond the power and torque the engine is rated for stock. I can’t even begin to imagine why you would go so far as to make it look like it’s modified, fast and powerful, then even add a tune go through all the trouble of making this video, then in the video you act like you’re about to race a dude in a corvette then you’re just too obsessive to even floor it? Where’s the fucking joy in that? Calm tf down man, pretty sure these engines are amongst the most reliable ever produced and I seriously doubt that the life of the internals will even be affected by that little tune you installed. Ngl My youtubes getting cluttered and you have a nice truck but I am def not liking or subscribing if you won’t even share it with your viewers in a friggin video by opening up the taps at least once. That’s crazy, you’re tripping 100%. I bet you don’t even know about the detent in the pedal when you press it down all the way, that alone is good for the last 15-20% of throttle opening and one more downshift. I get you’re afraid of things but you have nothing to fear in flooring it in a huge extended cab 2500 on a smooth flat road with sticky rubber and hardly more power than stock. You could literally floor it every time you merge onto the freeway or accelerate from a stop light or stop sign and as long as you keep up with recommended and required maintenance and be sure to limit using manual gear selection as well as tow mode unnecessarily and you won’t ever have a significant break down until it’s already reaching the end of its lifespan
