      Nonononononono- not " _what_ is it made of", but " _how_ is it made?"
      What is the design process? How is a proper location selected? What kind of contractor is hired to make it? What are some of the minimum requirement for all tracks? What are some issues that always come up between construction of each track that need to be addressed? How has track design evolved over the decades? Has construction techniques and materials changed over time? Do competitors get to give their two cents on the track performance, which is then incorporated into later track designs?

    How are outdoor snowboarding tracks made? Do they build a frame up underneath and pack snow on top, or are the sides pure snow?

    Mistake: the Swiss bobsled track started in St. Moritz and ended in CELERINA. Cresta is the original name of a Swiss sport that is actually now Skeleton.

    • @nominalize8162
      @nominalize8162 Před 6 lety +1

      Cresta was the name of the hamlet the run ended in. That hamlet is now part of the village of Celerina.
      The sport was named after the track, which was named after the village.

      The Edwardian there is a natural luge course in Negaunee, Michigan. But for the real tracks, salt like city, park city, whistler and vancouver are the only ones in north america

    • @adama9747
      @adama9747 Před 6 lety +1

      The Edwardian not really you can go to lake placid, NY and they have a bobsled ride but you can’t drive, but maybe you can get better and maybe do more. If you want to do luge/skeleton that may be hard because the closest track is actually in Muskegon, MI, and it’s only luge. Skeleton is only offered at Salt Lake City, whistler or maybe lake placid if they do that. Hope this helps
