Questions. A friends grand daughter is in a wedding. Her bridesmaid dress does not fit since sje is now pregnant. Just a little but Enough that the dress won’t zip from wait up mid back. Thought is to but cording, sew loops on each side then get precut ribbon or grossgrain some thing same color if osisnle to dress and lace it like you did. Well similar. The wedding is in three days. This girl flew in yesterday and not is im a panic. Do you think if i pull the existing zipper back and tack it dow so it does not show and then make loops and sew them with sewing machine like you would a zipper on each side of opening Basically a V, her back will show but that is OK. How big is the satin or fabric you are using for the lacing? And how big should the loops be? The part that is showing? Thanks for any assistance at this point.
