How to Lace a Corset- Bunny Ears -Self Lacing Method

So you've taken your corset laces out to replace them with ribbon, and now you're panicking cos you can't remember how to put them back in?
I've got you!
Or- you have a corset that's laced top to bottom, but want an easier way to lace that will help you to lace yourself into it?

This is how I lace corsets. It helps with self-lacing and looks cute. If you want to hide the bows when you're done, tuck them under the centre back edge out of sight.

It just means the person who made it didn't think to put them closer. You can still put in bunny ears, you just need to make sure you find the eyelets at the waist line. Does your corset have a waist tape? That's usually the right place.

@@lian_thecosit4357 which ends? The ends of the laces themselves, or the bunny ears? For the laces, I double tie them and pull one side more so the knot is hidden under the eyelet on one side of the base of the corset, and for the bunny ears, you pull them tight once the corset is on. I cross them over and pull in opposite directions to protect the eyelets :)

Lace it the same way, but loosen it to maximum. You'll need to put it on over your head. Then you can pull the bunny ear bits to tighten it.

I also use two strings and tie them together to make more length
