Yes finally I could understand miter corners thanks for good directions

Do we just leave the corners as is, or do we go back and sew diagonally to close up the corners? Or maybe that’s just a personal preference?

Thank you for this tutorial. I am going to use it to finish a Lilo and Stitch quilt for my daughter, as well as a quilt from years ago (before children) when I stuffed it away when I got to the binding. You made it seem so easy, I think I will finish them both!

Since all the comments were from some years ago, I wanted to add a more current comment. Thank you for this tutorial. It helped immensely.

I noticed that you left out a few steps pertaining on how to start the next row. You always leave your needle in the fabric and then raise the pressure foot. I like step by step instructions. Thanks!

Very clear, thanks. I also would like to know how to join two lengths of binding when you're making a larger blanket.

I've sewn several baby blankets with double sided minky fabric and satin binding using this video was the only way I was able to achieve "store bought" looking corners. The only thing I would suggest is that you deff stop a good 6 inches from where your corners are. Then tuck and fold. There is another tutorial that stops completely ends thread then makes corner pins and re-starts after she pins them. I'm too scared to try it that way. Lol.
