- Two former national road race champions, Matt Stephens and Lotto Soudal professional cyclist Adam Blythe clipped in and went for a ride around Adam's local Cheshire lanes. The weather may have been questionable but the cafe and conversation made up for it. Sit back and enjoy the episode.

Matt is the only cyclist in the world that i would love to meet and go for a SHORT cycle with because he would be the life and soul of any ride , he is so relaxed and friendly

Whether a pro, former pro or just a regular club rider like most of us...a day on the bike with a mate or 8 is our connection to our childhoods where stresses of adult life seem to melt away. What a great sport!!
This is what cycling is all about. Going for a ride with a mate(s), having a laugh, getting some exercise and having some good food.
Matt reminds me of how hard GCN has gotten to watch since he's gone.... Oh this is greatness! 😁😁😁
GCN is a lot more serious than it used to be. They really need someone who can laugh at themselves.

Now that’s a proper espresso machine (0:40), the Rocket Appartamento. I must say there are moments (@ 3:00 for instance) where Adam looks like he’s on a motorbike while Matt’s running full brakes. No offense to you Matt but shows one just how unbelievably strong a pro rider is. Regardless, fantastic vlog Matt! Love it! You are missed at GCN but damn glad your doing these dandy bits.
