Great fishing. Do you use a small anchor when whiting fishing or drift?
Thank you mate! Yeah I use a small anchor with 1.5m of chain on the end attached to some marine rope. I find a nice sand hole and anchor up there and if there is nothing at that spot I’ll keep doing that until I find them!

My father had a holiday home at Hardwick bay, that's just across from where you are fishing. We have seen big white pointers in that bay, the other boys are nuts hanging their legs over the side of their yaks. I remember a few years ago a guy windsurfing in the bay was taken by a 20 foot white, Dad went out to help find him but all they found was some wetsuit.
Definitely worth keeping in mind when you’re out there. But let’s also not forget they aren’t blood thirsty killers and should be respected.
