Well done Jordan! I caught a couple of kingfish off the little jetty in Kingscote on a squid rod. 😂 Well the fight lasted around 3minutes each time. Those fish are rockets.Zac must be spewing he didn’t land one but I’m sure he won’t stop til he does👍

Geez Hats of to you guys yous a very game I’ve fished that area many many times over the years and seen great whites on a few occasions around where yous are not sure if I’d be out there on a kayak especially the amount of time that kingy was splashing round near your yak 😅

Well done mate! Could you please give us a run down on the rig you used?
Thank you mate! Very simple set up, just tie an FG know from your braid to leader and give yourself about 4 m of leader. Then tie an 8/0 circle on the end and that’s it! I used 40lb braid and 80lb leader
I was casting lure at the jetty in the same time got a few follow but didn’t commit to take my lure 😢

Hey mate thanks for the support. 40lb braid tied onto 80lb black magic leader and an 8/0 hook tied to the leader. Very simple but effective!
Bloody good work Jordan. Do you reckon a shimano sienna 4000 with 20 lbs braid and 50 lbs leader is good enough or should I go heavier for kings?
Thanks man! I recon you could just get it done if you paddled hard enough from structure. But I would definitely recommend 40lb or 60lb braid with 80lb leader for comfort!
