Mossberg MVP Scout .308

Some trigger time with the Mossberg MVP scout in .308/7.62mm, love the trigger on this rifle, still trying to get use to the long eye relief vortex 2-7

Ive been eyeing a mossberg scout mvp,,,, the only thing is it says “mossberg mvp scout 7.62x51mm” ,,,, can you safely shoot 308. Out of it?? Both rounds
