Can someone give me a accrure price of a tommy build complete ump swap
I just purchased a usc and going to start my ump conversion
Is your vortex the forward mount model with the longer eye relief? If so how do you like it? I’m looking at putting one on my savage scout.
Stop wasting the internet. Mfing useless
You ever try the open sights??? Peep sights.. aperture sights,, whatever u wanna call them lol… if so,, how u like them
It came with the scope, I’ve only shot it that way so far, i like having them as backup but i will probably keep the scope as primary
Why is your scope a foot away from your head.
It’s a scout scope, long eye relief, that’s how the scout rifle is supposed to be set up
What was that?
Mossberg MVP Scout .308
@@redbeartactical4544 My go to these days...
how accurate is it?
2moa or so, good enough for hunting and wildlife defence
How many mini-shells do you have through it now? I keep thinking if it's reliable with them, I'll get one...but I don't have any interest in shooting full-size loads out of such a light gun. :)
12 mini shells
Hi Joe. I shot Black Aces thru my KS7. With my Hi Tech Defender Muzzle Brake and Pacmyar Slip On Butt Pad it is not bad at all. Mine is not reliable for Home Defense. It does not always cycle thru. I am not sending it back. I just use it for fun shooting and would not trust my life with it.
I’ve had zero malfunctions with mine, and ran everything through it, mini shells, 2 /34 and 3 inch, 00 buck, slugs, bird shot, everything has functioned perfectly
Hello. That was so Kool. How many of the Aguila mini shells will the KS7 hold please?
12 mini shells
@@redbeartactical4544 Thank You, Red.
I have the KS7 and I tried mini shells but they kept jamming. Gotta let me know how you made it work 🤔🤔🤔
I’ve never had an issue with the mini shells in my KS7
You have to pull the forearm back really hard. No short stroking.
@@carltongadgettmannprice352 I do but when I attempt to cycle the next round it gets loose in the action causing the jam. Or sometime it falls out while trying to rack the action.
I’ve never had any issues with my KS7, shot over 200rounds, mix of slugs, #4, and 00buck
@carltongadgettmannprice352 you sure? doesn't look like he's racking it hard here?
Oopppss
22 mag is hard to argue with
Ive been eyeing a mossberg scout mvp,,,, the only thing is it says “mossberg mvp scout 7.62x51mm” ,,,, can you safely shoot 308. Out of it?? Both rounds
Yes
Is your gun stamped 762 NATO if so does it shoot 308 fine?
Most new chambers can fire both
Good
Thanks
Bad little gun. Very compact shooter.
สวยงาม
What usc ump conversion did you do?
I bought it used, it was already done, it’s a Hera arms
You don't have problem with the scope so far??
Took a bit to get the eye relief right, but once that was done, it’s been great
@@redbeartactical4544 oh nice, I'm trying to put a scope in the same way for a cz58 just to see if works 💪 Thank you
That’s a special vortex long eye relief scope that came with this rifle
Can it kill a giant grizzly?
Why would you kill a giant grizzly?
@@mudejartrainingnaturalscie6938 No, no one wants to kill a grizzly, that is unnecessary. But, in the event of an attack, it’s either you or the grizzly
@@mudejartrainingnaturalscie6938 if you come across a grizzly in the wilderness it’s more then likely going to be him or you, black bear will turn and run, grizzly will charge you for no reason and mess you up
Late comment but what optic are you using?
It’s a vortex crossfire 2-7x32
Nice! Mini shells seem to be the way to go. How’s the KS7’s cycling been? Reliable shotgun?
Very reliable, +300 rounds through it so far and no issues
Hey brother, be honest with me, how’s the shotgun doing for you? I’ve had 2 and sold them because of reliability issues, I’m actually buying a third because I love the design. Are these newer models from this years production doing any better? Any failures?
I’ve had zero issues with mine, run everything I’ve feed it, slugs, birdshot, buckshot, 2 3/4, 3, even 1 3/4 mini shells, everything has functioned perfect. I’m really happy with it.
@@redbeartactical4544 about how many rounds have you ran through it?
@@10MMRUT close to 300, and a mix of everything, slugs, birdshot, buckshot and about a 100 mini shells slugs and buck
I want one but I’ve heard they have feed issues
Zero feeding issues with this one, even with mini shells, it’s a little sticky to load with low brass or the minis but high brass seems way easier to load
I just bought a M1A mag for mine they are the best
Well hopefully I get mine soon, i have a couple m1a mags but will probably stock up on ar-10 mags as they are cheaper.
I’ve got a bunch of m1a and ar10 mags, both function perfectly
pressing forward on the bipod, is that considered to loading it?
That’s how I was taught
Yes but that amount of change/play in height can have an effect on accuracy, and it’s why there are such differences in price between bipods. The stronger, tighter and less play you have in the bipod, even when loading into it, typically the better and more expensive the bipod becomes, as that is more consistent. Consistency is a key to both accuracy and precision. With that much change under load, I would have significant worries about repeatability. I’ve shot with a couple accu-tac bipods and no matter how much you load into those bipods, there is a limit to how much they flex and thus the flex, as well as the shot, are far more consistent and far easier to repeat. Nothing against this guy or his bipod, I have an old Harris that flexes worse than this and you can learn to adjust or compensate for that flex but it’s so much easier to hit 1MOA with a stronger or stiffer bipod. Go look at an M200 Intervention and its integrated bipod to see just how stiff and strong you want a bipod to be when you get to a large caliber rifle.
I've got a mvp in 308 ordered, I plan on using it for everything. any videos of you running the bolt hard and fast as well? also I loved the kid having their hand out the window and thumbs up! hopefully they had their ears on.
My kids always have hearing protection on when we shoot, I haven’t run it much faster then that video, I tend to shoot it out 100 meters and that’s about what it takes to get on target for me at that range
@@redbeartactical4544 right on, my kids are getting old enough to get more and more into that. Any regrets at all with this rifle, would you purchase again or go a different rout?
@@lorenwillis328 only thing I didn’t like about this rifle was the sling, I’m really not a fan of traditional slings. I put a QD point in the butt, and one on the pic rail on the front and run a magpul MS4, now I can sling it in front of me
@@lorenwillis328 u can run bolt fast as shit on mine, those other videos u seen were either defective rifles or propaganda from other companies or the Chinese, I have pmags & M1A mags both are great
If I had to pick one rifle it would definitely be my scout rifle.
How’s the feed and cycle on that gun?
It was ruff with my reloads at first, but now it runs like a top
Mine runs as fast as you can pull the bolt I use M14 mags & Pmags. No problems I have seen guys address issues about feeding. my bullets sit high higher than feed ramp & feed ramp is polished by factory. Those couple guys that had issues, there rifles must of missed quality control at factory. It's a fucking nice modern gun , it ain't no Winchester pre 1964 model 70 but it fucking nice, loaded with tons of features. I have folding AR sights mounted
Recoil 308 vs shotgun?
It’s recoil isn’t bad at all, more then bird shot but way less the slugs or 3inch buckshot
@@redbeartactical4544 yea I’m lookin for a patrol model I like a compact light 308 ar10 no velocity drop 🤣
@@kenshin034 Been looking also, have not seen one in S. NH.
Impossible to find this gun now, sold out everywhere I look.
I got this one at Canadian tire
Thanks for the vid!! I bought one to Hunt with /SHTF because of it's magazine capability. Please keep me informed with your experience!!!
I love it, had some problems with my reloads because they were fire formed to a m305 chamber, but after resizing some brass and firing it in the mvp it cycles fine. Otherwise I love this rifle. Only thing I’d like to change is the sling, thinking of putting QD points in the rear stock to run a magpul QS4
