LA Metro (C) Line Aviation/LAX Station Tour

- This video tours a very important station on the C line and for the entire metro network before the new LAX station is complete. This is where LAX passengers taking the train would enter/exit, and board a shuttle to the airport. Parking structures are also located nearby that can piggyback off of the shuttles and amenities at the station. The design and seating arrangements are quite nice; particularly the two seperated tables which make for a pleasant meeting space.

This is an important station that will become relatively unimportant when the K line fully opens later this year. Most riders using this station transfer to buses to work at or near LAX and will switch to the new LAX station to transfer to the people mover when those open.
Agreed! I wonder how much the ridership will decrease, hopefully areas around can be repurposed so new riders can use that station

Hopefully metro redevelops this soon to be obsolete bus plaza with housing.
Probably better suited for office and retail, or even light industrial for live/work spaces that artists could use.
That would be awesome if they did something like that, I worry that they would leave it as like a parking lot.
