- When it comes to giving birth, we all should have the same goal - healthy baby and the healthy mother. What is better- Normal delivery or the Caesarean Section. Every one wants to know the answer to this question. Actually, the mode of delivery - a normal vaginal delivery or a caesarean section - should be guided primarily by medical reasons.
If you’re pregnant and have this question in mind or you are trying to decide which option is best for you - this video will help answer many of your queries . It will help you to have a detailed discussion with your doctor to decide which option is best and safe for you. Of course we talk about broad guidelines in this video. Most of the times, the medical decisions have to be individualised.

I am not even married yet but I am so scared of baby birth whenever I hear about it 😅 pushing baby out of me 😭 can't we women have painless simple method of natural birth 😭😭😭
Samee here🤣🤣🤣🤣
@Hamida but in c-section the pain of stitches is worst and u if u gained weight u have to wait around 3 to 6 months to reduce it🙈!
@Hamida yes, it is painful but if its normal than it would be best! Since, I have asked my friends who have delivered they says normal is the best!
@Hamida apna blood is apna blood my dear
@Hamida yes ofcourse. Since, we are single we don't know the fact how it feels but I'm sure being a mom is an amazing feeling ❤
Maybe “normal” delivery should just be called vaginal delivery... as cesarean section by no means is abnormal and comes with enough challenges of its own.
Superb comment...I think so too. I had s c section
..I felt so normal
I agree
Very true
In west it's always Natural Birth and C-section. I don't know in India why it's Normal because in reality it's worst and very abnormal. Hours of pain. Episiotomy is hell.. Doctors never tell openly about this procedure. In Natural Birth women needs a lot of patience and determination.. It's absent nowadays and many women opt for C-section willingly.
I guess it’s because “labour” and “delivery” are used often synonymously albeit erroneously in the vernacular. And normal labour has such a particular definition that even instrumentation during VD is enough to call it abnormal 🌚
I had two normal deliveries..the second one was much quicker ,the labour was shorter...hell of a painful and tedious work but all forgotten once you get your little one in your arms..!!
Your videos are very well made. Clear explanations. All scientific, non judgemental and great visuals. Look forward to more.
Watching this video without any reason.. I am not even married .. just to educate myself for future. You have explained so well, calmly..
Hi mam, I want to share this feeling of mine with you. I was 16, I guess , when I saw a delivery, may be on any video , since then I was having fear about the process of birth, when I saw your video , now I am relaxed after so many years. Thank you so much
Thank you so much. These videos have been very helpful. Waiting for pregnancy stretches/workout routine videos

Dr. Anjali Kumar is an epitome of women empowerment ❤️🙏
I am very scared when I think about delivery so I am coming to watch this video
When one is planning a baby .... what to eat... what not to eat... which exercises to omit.... or don't workout at all..... please make a video on this..... when one is not able to conceive, these are the questions which pops up on mind
In India one should be given nitrous oxide sedation option too with normal.
Its really a good alternative to epidural..from my own experience

Best vedio i have ever seen, i am currently going through my 2 nd pregnancy
I was into active labour and my midwife told me oh the baby has popped inside. I heard it everywhere that they would probably do a C-section. But my midwife told me that she would just break the water and let the dirty fluid come out. 😬 I wasn't very sure of what she was doing but I wasn't in condition to say anything or think about it. And my daughter was born vaginally after sometime healthy and happy. Between just to sum up...this was in France. I am not sure how this situation in India would have been handled.
So patient and composite dr you are as a person! Thanks so much for this video.
Thank you very much ma'am for this incredible information. All my questions are gone now. 😊
Not even a single dislike or hate comment which perfectly tells that how informative and accurate your words are. Love you mam😍😍 Want to meet you some day💕

Thank you 🙏🏻 so much mam, very helpful. Actually someone i can trust.
You are super awesome doctor. Thanks for the message ❤️
U'v been of great help to me mama ...one month pregnant but have learnt a lot thanks to you
It is pity to note that most of the Obstetricians in India are not using a wound protector during caesarean sections which is very effective to prevent surgical site infections, scar endometriosis and even development of incisional hernia in future. In our area we are using it and it is very effective. Any doctor who is really caring their patients should invariably use a wound protector during LSCS. We are using PRAN WOUND PROTECTOR which is very effective and economical. It is high time that patients should demand doctors the use of wound protectors at least for their safety and to avoid future complications.

So much needed video. Thank you so much Ma'am. 🙏❤️
That’s such informative video. Thank you so much. I am 22wks now and based in Australia at the moment. Low risk, normal pregnancy so going for a vaginal birth so far. But my Indian friends who are pregnant at the same time too, seems like obsessed with the idea of c-section. To most, pregnancy is like a disease that needs “over pampering”, here my doc asked me to carry on with life as I used to, like going for hikes and cycling. Seems like vaginal delivery is only “low status” and unfortunately most obstetricians don’t encourage that either. I really hope this video reaches to more and more people in India that motivates for natural birth.
Your smile is like dew on the leaf...keep smiling and shining...from where are you originally??🤗🤗🙆♀️🙆♀️💃💃
Well in Australia there is elective cesarean unless it’s medically required.
@@PreetKaur-fk3ds that’s everywhere round the world, not only Australia
Agree - based out of UK and delivered a baby boy 4 days ago normally. All my relatives in India are going for C section - don’t understand why the doctors don’t discuss that with pain relief options, natural birth is doable.
@@garimabiyala9956 can’t agree more. My little one is now 8 months & I was on my toes on 2nd day after the delivery - cooking, doing housework, taking care of the baby. We didn’t have any help/family. It’s only my partner and I. And we did pretty good. Back home, it’s an “achievement”, but it’s so normal here. I really hope people like you and I can spread the word more and more and make pregnancy/child birth normal
Wonderful explanation thank you
Best explanation with medical terms

First time here, and I looove it! Moving from one video to another. On my first trimester
You explained it so nicely👌
I am due on December 8th. I am confused withing normal delivery and C-section. Thank you, your video made it easier for me which one to go for.
This helped a lot.. you’ve a very good way of explaining and making things easier to understand. ♥️
Yes, nobody tells you about episiotomy and it’s complications in normal delivery . Problems to the newborns like delayed cry, neurological damage etc, so we should cal it vaginal delivery rather than normal delivery.
Private Hospital? Ehh? Money...Money...Money !!
For me episiotomy
episiotomy is not compulsory=these doctors should learn from Dais who are quite good in delivering babies normally without tears .
And yeah, normal because it's natural.
Learn from Europe and USA where 90percent of the deliveries are normal deliveries
It's just in India that greey and unethical doctors are taking advantage of unaware patients and pushing /forcing for caesarean.
It should be called normal delivery because it is natural delivery
World health organisation has pointed out that Indian doctors are unethically recommending caesarean to 85 percent patients
Which should be only for emergency cases and should be leas than fifteen percent
The issue is with such greedy criminal. doctors who should be investigated by WHO
