- Being active and exercising in pregnancy is not only safe but can have immense benefits. Unfortunately many women are sceptical of following an active lifestyle and exercising in pregnancy. In this video we talk about the benefits of exercise, when not to do the exercise and of course what exercises to do. Over and above these exercises, please include, walking, low impact exercises like yoga and pilates too . And always consult your doctor before starting any exercise regime.
In this Video, Rashmi Bawa joins us for teaching the exercises. She is the Director of "Well Mom Antenatal", a company providing childbirth education to the couples.

😬 there is one correction here! when squating, PLEASE do not squat on your toes alone! Squat with heels firm on ground or else you'll damage your knees with added weight of the baby! Moreover, real excercise of the pelvic area happens when you squat on full feet (with heels firm on ground) rather than just the toes. please be careful.

Hi, Dr. Anjali I hope you doing well. I am 26 week pregnant and my midwife told me that I have low lying placenta, there is no vasa praevia but she suggested me that not to worry because it's very common 80 percent women can recover from this.
I just want to know that any exercise for this or any precaution which i have to take care?
