I love this kid and his professionalism. He talks but corrects himself before he says things so that the media doesn’t take it out of context, which they still try when interviewing the other fighter. I still think Ryan has fought similar competition as Tank has, but it is Tank that's getting all the glory. From my perspective, Luke Campbell (an Olympic Gold metalist) is better than anyone Tank has fought. Ryan gets criticized for going down in that fight, but those critics don't even take into consideration the quality of Luke, and the fact that Ryan is the only one to KO Luke. (Pretty strong statement)

Mate, this goes to show you just how stupid and petty people can be when it comes to actually LISTENING to a person when they speak. After reading a number of these comments posted, I'm not suprised. Not once during this interview did Garcia state that the rehydration clause was an issue. To the contrary, he was somewhat dismissive of it and basically indicated that he would be prepared regardless. He was asked a question and he answered it. Simple as that.The rest of this clip focused on the promotional aspect etc....
Apparently that part went Over people's heads.
But of course it would.
That aside I have gained a good measure of respect for Garcia, for obviously wanting this fight. And I credit Davis as well. While immature fans indulge in the usual fodder ( claiming Garcia is scared of /ducking Davis etc....), here he took the steps to make this fight a reality while it makes perfect sense, meanwhile Spence and Crawford STILL can't get beyond social media with their nonsense.

What does rehydration clause mean
@@mariazamorano617 basically Ryan and Tank both get weight the day before the fight and the night of the fight. They both can’t weight more than 146 MAX the night of the fight. The dehydration is so that Ryan doesn’t make weight and then go rehydrate himself to gain all his weight back. It’s suppose to make it fair that both fighters weigh the same fight night as much as possible

Rehydration clause should be a rule not a clause. I never did understand what was the point of having weight ins when they basically would fight 10 to 15 pounds heavier on fight night or even more. Like isn't that the point of having weight clases, it only favor fighters that want be weight bullies. If the fight is at 140, well they should at least fight in the 40's even if they gain couple of pounds but it shouldnt exceed 10 pounds over. I think that's the fairest way of making a fight 50/50 for the fighters.

I’ve only ever seen highlights of Garcia, I’ve never seen a full/live Garcia fight and this will be the first time. I’m not sure what his style is like. But I think he should fight on the backfoot and try to outbox Davis with in and out movements, quick one twos and a high volume of punches. He’s got to be wary of the overhand right from Davis because that seems to be a weakness of Garcia. He’s got to be on his A game otherwise he doesn’t stand a chance. @@assassin7250 That's not a HUGE difference in how the body can recover and stay fit. Now, if he was past 30 it would definitely be worth noting his age difference. He's still in the peak muscle mass development age, so if anything as he gets closer to 30 it gets better for him, and sharper.
