      Thank you!!!! He literally looked exactly how he looks every fight as far as style. He’s not a combo puncher, he doesn’t feint much, he doesn’t drop down to swing from peoples blind sides, and he damn sure don’t guard himself properly. Oscar said “Ryan fights tall” Tank used that and ducked the whole night. Ducked right under punches. His opponents he was put up against his whole career were trash and made his one two punch look like it was good. Now we see that boxers need real experience against top 10 boxers to know where you really stand. Ryan went 12 rounds with Tagoe lol at 140. He did not look amazing and super good. It’s not weight, it’s literally skill that’s failing him!! Now he has to face the best. There’s no more trash to push around.

    For all the people saying Tank drained Ryan and took advantage basically answer me this. Final weigh in were they both not 144? Which mean they both took advantage of the 10 pound rehydration clause right? If tank was to have fought Ryan at 140 what weight do you think Ryan would’ve came In at and who would it have been in favor of? Mind you if Ryan would’ve won y’all wouldn’t have cared about the weight because he won keep that same energy.

    • @mylesmurphy5716
      @mylesmurphy5716 Před rokem

      i think ryan wouldve lost regardless but this is extreemly flawed logic hahah ryan is bigger and cuts more weight if ryan didnt have a rehydration clause he wouldve weighed in much heavier. its common knowledge cutting weight takes oxygen out of brain. Tank has a small frame and has pretty much stopped growing where as ryan is stilll growing in to his frame. If you think a rehydration clause doesnt affect anything your literally slow man. Also the "if they fought at 140" statement is irrelevant because again because if ryan cant eat breakfest because he has to make sure he doesnt put on too much weight its obviously draining haha but weight bullies are annoying so i get it but imagine if guys like peraria in the ufc had a rehydration clause and couldnt weigh in more then 205 on fight night WHEN they fight at 185. it would severly affect them lololol

    • @savage23sw
      @savage23sw Před rokem

      @@mylesmurphy5716 I’ve cut weight plenty of time for fights and for camps with other fighters. Is it fun no but anybody in combat sports know what comes with it. My point is the rehydration clause didn’t just go for Ryan it was for both fighters. Me bringing up 140 is because even after him losing people are still saying if he fought him at 140 it would’ve been different. It’s not like Ryan has been fighting at 140 his whole career he’s only been there for 2 fights. In fact the only reason he fought fortuna at 140 is because fortuna said he wasn’t losing weight to fight at 135 which is where the fight was supposed to be. Again if the fight was at 140 Ryan would’ve had the advantage because rather people want to admit it or not that’s how the fight game works now. Every contract for every boxing match has a advantage for particular fighters rather it be the size of the ring the size of the gloves a weight stipulation. The fight being at 136 was golden boys idea for the catch weight because tank refused 140. All I’m saying is if Ryan wins there’s no comments about him being drained because his fans wouldn’t have cared he won but the moment he loses there’s a million reasons why outside of he wasn’t ready. It’s not just Ryan any big fighter with a fan base has done canelo beating people he’s unstoppable loses he had a injury wilder knockout king runs into fury every fight he loss was a different reason why. Tank had a injury and won against Cruz they hate him so much the the story was the injury was fake and he just couldn’t put Cruz away now imagine if he lost. Ufc being compared to boxing always gets touchy because yea all their fighter fight each other but look how often their stars fight and for how much. The highest paid ufc fighters to date are Conor and Jon. When was the last time Conor won? And Jon just came back after how long? Francis just left because of money. It’s easy to make cards when your fighters aren’t making much most ufc fighters still have regular jobs and it’s not by choice.

      @@tmitche9 Because people pick and choose when they care about it is my point. Oscar went on a whole press run bashing tank about things that he himself implemented in his fights and his fighters fights and the masses ate it up as if it’s not hypocritical. The same Oscar that made Floyd come up to a weight he never fought in to fight but went down 2 weight classes to try and take manny’s belt. The same Oscar that made his now business partner Bernard fight under similar stipulations and lost the same way Ryan did. The whole time canelo was with golden boy the same type of contract Ryan signed Oscar was giving out for canelo. So my point is it’s only a problem when the odds aren’t in your favorite fighter or the promoters fighters favor. Cutting weight can be tough but we acting like Ryan was welterweight or middleweight being asked to come down. Ryan is a 135 fighter who only fought at 140 2 times and one of them wasn’t because he wanted to. The fortuna fight was supposed to be at 135. Fortuna said he wasn’t losing weight so they fight at 140 or it’s no fight. So to say he was drained after trying to get his last fight at 135 is reaching for excuses to have in the pocket if he loses

    Honestly, I think the rehydration clause should be the default setting for every single fight. Weight divisions are there for a reason, you shouldn't sign for a lightweight fight to show up as a welterweight coming fight night.
    Too many boxers are counting on it and now it seems like cheating when people actually want boxers to fit the weighclass they sign in for. Reverse world.

    I don't understand why fighters don't have to weigh their weight class on the actual day of the fight. Fighters are allowed to weigh one thing at the weigh in, and void a dehydration clause, they can pick up an extra 20 pounds for the day of the fight. Why is that, does anyone know, because it makes no sense to me. I've heard that after the actual weigh in, some fighters can go out and pick up as much as 20 extra pounds. So a 135 fight, can actually be fought at as much as 155, what's that junior middle weight? Come on now.
