Canelo can't call anyone out in that he has chosen the easiest fights, and has ducked Andrade, Benavidez and Charlo for 6 years. Each time either of those 3 became mandatory, he ducked out of the fight with Bs excuses and then vacated the belts and ran from the division. All of this BS about chasing history is garbage. Why didn't he become undisputed at a 154, or 160 and is now about to vacate the 168 titles unless he fights an old aged GGG who has never fought at 168? He's doing that dropping titles shyt again, because now Charlo and Andrade are #1 at 160 and would be the roadblocks for undisputed at 160, and Andrade and Benavidez are the roadblocks at 168.

It seems like Ryan and his team put other obligations above his obligation to the sport and his “Boxing Career”. All the smoke about him being a social media fighter is misunderstood. He is definitely a real boxer with one difference. He prioritizes the opportunities that he has created for himself as a result of his social media popularity over the boxing. Canelo is definitely not coming for him or at him in any kind of way that’s not his style. He is simply responding to questions being asked about Ryan in the same way reporters are asking Ryan questions. These questions are inevitably going to be asked it’s part of the game and Canelo has never said anything disparaging about him, he’s just being honest. Same with Ruiz who lost a hella weight training under Eddie, Canelo & Reynoso has forged a strong bond & reputation as the p4p best in the world & there success has come through nothing but hardwork & dedication, something Ryan lacks & needs to understand...

Here's my theory: Ryan started getting more social media promo opportunities, movie offers etc, after the Luke Campbell fight and Canelo and Eddy told him to cut that shit out of he wanted to be an elite boxer. He didn't like it and started thinking he was bigger than he was. Canelo and Eddy probably gave him a reality check like "you haven't fought anybody except Campbell and you haven't done shit in the sport. You're a pretty boy with potential but you need to work hard and dedicate yourself to this." He threw a fit, and took his cobra bag home for a "mental health" break.
He didn't get Eddy's attention because he wasn't putting in the work. Oscar Valdez and JC Martinez work their ass off just like Canelo and look at them. That just goes to show the level of dedication and sacrifice required to achieve that level of greatness. This kid ain't it.
