The tip on cutting out pipes for the cabinet was priceless. Thank you.

The mighty car mod guys use toothpaste. easier to clean and always around.
Eric F pipe dope works good too!
I've put in quite a few vanities and never knew to do this. I've always gone by measurements and had no problem but this looks alot faster.
So simple yet so effective
I just bought a "fixer upper" and I'm learning as I go. The vanity install paint trick is legit. That really took a load off for me. Thanks!
The speed, clarity and volume of this information is like none other! Love this video, nice work!
thank you 🙏🏼
This video should go in a humanity archive on how to anything bathroom. Great stuff. 👍
Thank you Karina
Omgosh, this gentleman is so knowledgeable, Topnotch.!!!

Excellent! As a former floor layer, watching that bathroom reno job made my back and knees hurt.
It takes me 4-6 weeks to change a roll of toilet paper.........I'm not yet ready to tackle this level of remodeling.
lol, for some reason that toilet paper is tough to replace
🤣🤣
Ex self employed tile guy here. Great info and great job. Watching this video made me miss installing. .... .just a little bit. Haha. Keep up the great work and keep the the videos coming
thank you so much, appreciate your kindness
Same here Leevy!
Really well produced, all content, no useless dialogue or crappy music
thank you, we try to get right to the point
one of the best how to video i have ever seen. more info here than some of other videos with 20 min of intro music lights and no action. loved it. thank you
Not that I am going to re-do my bathroom now. But it's so good to learn the whole process from a professional. Thank you!
Lol I went to Home Depot to scope out the materials.
I think the floor prep was great, but really, unless you are remodeling the bathroom in the House of Windsor, it is just too much. No one needs a bathroom floor that could double as the outer hull of a submarine. And let me tell you, most everyone says I go WAY too far in my own moisture barrier provisions. But please don’t take me wrong. This video shows the best work I have seen in a long time, maybe ever. As a reference, I was a safety worker for Swinerton. And cutting the grout lines with a circular saw? I have removed a lot of tile and replaced it, but the pry bar and hammer is the most practical method.
Your knowledge in carpentry is AMAZING. God bless, looking forward to learning all of this.
I don't know who you are, and I don't plan on doing anything like thus, but 2hat an informative and full of information , no time wasted video. Wonderful video.
Some channels you wonder why they have a million subs, but this is one that actually deserves 5 million plus!
Wow!!
This is the best video for DIY and professionals on 2020!
Keep up the great work !
👍😁🙏
thank you
Oh my goodness! Finally all facts and no fluff!! You’re doing it right man.
When installing the vanity top install the facets and hot and cold lines first. Makes it so much easier then trying to get underneath to tighten the nuts that hold it in place.
Love the pace!. I usually can't finish watching tutorials as I'm either way ahead or falling asleep or my attention is focused on some other issue. This video is great. I subscribed and liked. Thanks.
I love love love watching ppl renovate.. this video has been my favourite to watch 😄 so enjoy watching your hacks 😁

thank you so much
Best ever editing and pacing of a how to video.
Great video, very helpful tips. Thanks for getting straight to the content instead of the redundant intro explaining the title
Always use a mask when removing vinyl especially in an older home.As there has been cases of asbestos being underneath.
Those would be the 8” X 8” vct (vinyl composition tile) in my yrs of experience! Mostly! They are very brittle and are glued down with black adhesive! Usually in non traffic areas you can pop them up in 1 piece for the most part! Where you would get the most airborn crap flying around is if you sweep the floor during clean up! Prob not a good idea ! I would def use a respirator and a good one and use a vacum with a hepa filter and dampen the floor first before final cleanup! That will keep a lot of the dust from flying around! Its that or call in an asbestos remediation crew and pay through the nose for everything that goes with that including disposal fees! Legally here if you are doing a job for someone as a contractor and asbestos is involved, it has to be removed by one of the handfull of licensed companies certified to remove asbestos! There is a ton of masking things off (windows, doors etc) to contain it and workers are gowned up like workers in a clean room! Same with lead paint removal ! Another nightmare maybe for next halloween!
True dat!
This is a very informative video. It's annoying when other CZcamsrs make videos on how to do things that they themselves are doing for the first time in the video. Crazy. But this video is ob from a pro!
V cool DIY vlog. Thx for sharing
Great video. Straight to the point and full of information. Thanks guys
thank you Liz
Love the vainty unit painted pipe tip 👍
Some how to videos sped up like this can be too fast to comprehend and certain steps in the process are not well explained, but this video may be quick but not just visually can we see clearly what to do in each step but the instructor speaks clearly on what to do in each successive step and the sound volume is excellent, good job on this short video!!.... for anybody who worries they can't absorb or remember all the steps, just check your CZcams archives or library to view your history of videos you've visited in the past.
thank you so much, we really appreciate your feedback and will continue to improve our videos to help people
I loved it❤️ thank you for teaching us 🙏God bless you!!

@@HomeRepairTutor will do. Thanks!
One thing i learned the hardway from being taught the complete wrong way is to put positive slope underneath your shower pans!! You gotta slope underneath whatever material you use for your pan! Its a critical error a lot of people make! Excess water will travel thru your grout and mudbed etc. finally hitting your pan and settling in the lowest point! It will stay there because it has no where else to go! Soon it starts making mold and turns acidic thereby eating through to your substrate and walls! If you dont slope your pan toward the weep holes on your drain the excess water is sure to cause major problems later on! I have torn out 50 yr old showers that would have lasted another 50 and others that were 10 yrs old that have rotted the subfloor, studs ,and floor joists! Water is a killer in wet areas! Thats why most insurance doesnt cover damage that occurs there!
I like your style. Great work! Thanks for the tips
Awesome info and great editing. 👍best I've seen
You make it all look too damn easy. Lol very impressive.
Ummm the circular saw on the grout lines..Priceless
Some really good tips in this video! I will be 100% getting myself a laser level, it looks like such a handy tool for bathrooms :D
You guys are on point with editing, I also found it really handy to read through the comment section to see replies to other people's questions. Nice touch!

I'm far from a professional and he gave me everything I needed with regard to information. There's nothing worse than CZcamsrs who drone on and on.
One learns the best from the pros?
I liked the video but definitely agree with you. The title should be “for beginners in the renovation industry”

Fantastic advise. Thank you.
Excellent video . To the point
Awesome 👌thanks..for the great tips 😀
Great video thank you so much
Great hard worker.
Great job! Duroc is for walls though. Use hardy backer for floors then follow the same steps
Durrock or wonderboard is fine for floors ! Its not just for walls ! Hardibacker works for either but i hate putting fasteners through that crap , its easier to pilot hole it but the time spent blows that up! I stay away from hardibacker altogether personally! Whatever you use , thinset it down on wood sub floors with a polymer modified product!
Hi, thanks for the tips! What brands of water proof joint compound and seal coat
Wonderful video! Gotta watch the rest of them before I buy a home :) Few questions for ya: does dampening the subfloor make it easier for the thin-set to adhere? Are there any mold concerns with that or does it dry out when the thin-set does? Lastly, do most thin-sets have directions to dampen the subfloor, or is this one of the tricks of the trade?
Its one of the tricks! Without it, the dryness of the subfloor will suck the moisture out of the thinset before it has a chance to set! Always a good idea before bonding any type cement product! Always wet your substrate! And mold is not a concern. Just dampen not flood!
I just learned so much! subscribed!
Awesome tips!!!
Renovated my bathroom in 10 minutes thanks to this video
