  • In this video I do a comparison showing the details of my most recent proton pack shell build versus a screen used hero shell casting I used behind the scenes to replicate from scratch. It was an amazing journey and now you can see in details just about every detail is tried to recreate. I hope you guys enjoy and please drop a like and comment.

It's cool to see that you went and try and replicate all the imperfections. There's history to be told in the packs they built, and it gives a great authenticity to it all.
    Well done! 👍

I'll be doing a run of 4 in the next month or so. I have one open spot if your interested but I have to mention just because it will save you a lot of money is my 3D model is available to purchase for 3D printing in my Etsy store for only 28 bucks and the model dimensionally is near as good as my handmade model albeit with a slight more idealization. I know its not as movie accurate since it would be 3D printed but dimensionally it is and once cleaned up, painted and parts attached no one would know the difference. But if your interested in purchasing a fiberglass shell let me know and I'll contact you once I have them all finished and satisfied with quality. Otherwise I highly suggest my 3D model to save quite a bit.

I'm currently working on a scratch-built ABS shell, I can appreciate the absolutely grueling process of matching that outline, masterful work! Really cool to get a close look at a lineage shell.

Amazing work as always! You do the best shells available. I do wish I was in the market for a shell, I’d buy it no question.

Looks like they had that in somewhere in a area that had a lot of heat because its a hollow shell it probably started to to move downward in the middle of the pack so that made everything not straight but at a angle

It's possible but also could be from a rushed production.

I’m guessing that “wonkiness” was to help pull from molds or for a vaccuform buck to release easier from thermoforming.

A definite possible. I thought the same thing for a lot of the overly rounded edges.

The screen used shell used to make the mold was likely a foam stunt pack. I really doubt it was a super hero pack. I own a casting from a screen used shell and it has none of those warping problems.

Resin gel coat and backed with fiberglass resin and matte.
